Engineering Exams 2026: Latest Updates, Dates, Pattern, Syllabus

Top Engineering Entrance Exams for undergraduate admissions include JEE Main, JEE Advanced, BITSAT, VITEEE, SRMJEEE, GUJCET, TS EAMCET, AP EAMCET, MHT CET, CUET, and more. Candidates who wish to secure admission to B.Tech programmes in the choice of their specialisation can appear for national-level, state-level, and university-level engineering exams. The eligibility for each entrance exam may differ depending on the university/institute requirements. 

The conducting bodies for each entrance exam will release the notification and application form for aspiring candidates. The JEE Main registration 2026 is likely to start in October 2025 at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Besides, the VITEEE application form and the AEEE registration will also begin soon in the coming days. The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 exam will be held from January 21 to 30, 2026, while Session 2 is scheduled from April 1 to 10, 2026, as officially announced by NTA. For state-level engineering exams such as TS EAMCET, AP EAMCET, MHT CET, KCET, KEAM, and others, the official notification will be released soon for the upcoming cycle.
