AP EAMCET Exam 2026: Dates, Notification, Pattern, Syllabus

AP EAMCET 2026 Exam Date will be released by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada on its official website of APSCHE. The AP EAMCET exam 2026 will be scheduled in the second week of May for Pharmacy and last week of May for Engineering. AP EAMCET registration 2026  is expected to start from March to April 2026. The AP EAMCET eligibility criteria will be released along with the notification. Only candidates who meet the AP EAMCET eligibility criteria can fill out the application form at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. AP EAMCET exam for Agriculture, Pharmacy is expected to be conducted in the second week of May and Engineering streams will be conducted in the last week of May 2026. 

After the completion of registration, the AP EAMCET Admit Card 2026 will be released one week prior to the exam date, which can be downloaded either from the website or via Whatsapp. Candidates preparing for the AP EAMCET exam must know the exam pattern & syllabus. As per the exam pattern, the paper will consist of 160 multiple-choice questions with 1 mark each. Students must also note that there is no negative marking in the AP EAMCET exam. Candidates must read the AP EAMCET syllabus comprehensively before they start their preparation. Soon after  the completion of the exams, the preliminary answer keys will also go live the next day. The final answer key is expected to be released in June 2026.

What is AP EAMCET Exam 2026?

AP EAMCET Exam 2026- The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada, conducts the AP EAMCET (AP EAPCET) exam 2026 for admission to engineering, pharmacy, and agriculture courses at the undergraduate level. The exam is conducted in a computer-based test mode at centres allotted by JNTU Anantapur. Candidates who fulfil the AP EAMCET eligibility criteria can apply for the exam.

AP EAMCET Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements to apply for the exam. The eligibility criteria vary for each course. Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements for the course they want to take admission to. Students can check the following important eligibility criteria below:

• Educational Qualification: Students must have passed 10+2 with relevant subjects with a minimum of 45% marks as an aggregate. As per AP EAMCET education qualifications, the eligibility may vary for different courses.
• Age Limit: Candidates must have completed 16 years of age as of December 2026. As per the AP EAMCET age limit criteria, there is no upper age limit to apply for the exam.
• Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens or must hold a PIO/OCI card. They must also satisfy the local/non-local status of Andhra Pradesh.

AP EAMCET Registration 2026

JNTU Anantapur will release the AP EAMCET application form 2026 on its official website. The application forms were to be filled out online. Candidates had to submit an application fee for successful AP EAMCET registration 2026. After the registration is over, candidates are awaiting their Admit cards. AP EAMCET Admit Card 2026

AP EAMCET admit cards will be released in May 2026,  for those candidates who have successfully submit the application form. They can download the admit card via whatsapp as well. After downloading the admit card, candidates verify their admit cards. They must report to the conducting body if there is any discrepancy in the admit card. 

They should print and carry the hard copy of their admit card to the examination centre. Along with it, they must also carry valid ID proof and two passport-size photographs with them.

AP EAMCET Exam Pattern 2026

AP EAMCET exam is conducted for admission to engineering, pharmacy, and agriculture courses. Pharmacy & agriculture courses have a common paper, while engineering courses have a separate paper. AP EAMCET Syllabus 2026

Students preparing for the AP EAMCET exam must be aware of the syllabus in detail. JNTU Anantapur releases the detailed syllabus on the official website of APSCHE for both engineering and pharmacy/agriculture courses every year. AP EAMCET Answer Key

AP EAMCET answer key will be released by JNTU Anantapur on its official website, provisional ones are to be released the next day after the exams are completed, that is in May and the Final Answer Key will be released on 5th June 2026. Since the answer key released before the result is provisional, candidates can challenge objections against the answer key if they are not satisfied with the answers provided in it.

AP EAMCET Final Answer Key

The AP EAMCET final answer key is released along with the result. The final answer key cannot be challenged by candidates and the answers provided in it are final. The final answer key will be released in 5th June 2026

AP EAMCET Result 2026

JNTU Anantapur will release AP EAMCET 2026 result on the official website of APSCHE. Candidates must achieve a minimum of 25% marks in order to qualify the examination. Only qualified candidates will be assigned a rank by the conducting body. It must be noted that there are no minimum qualifying marks criteria for candidates belonging to the reserved category. 

AP EAMCET Tie-Breaking Rules

In case, two or more candidates secure the same score, then the tie-breaking criteria is followed to decide the rank of the candidate. The tie-breaking rules are as follows:

• The total marks secured in AP EAMCET-2026
• The Marks secured in mathematics in AP EAMCET-2026
• The marks secured in Physics in AP EAMCET-2026
• If the tie persists, the same rank will be given and the older (based on the date of birth) will be given preference over the younger at the time of admission.

AP EAMCET Counselling 2026

The AP EAMCET counselling will be conducted for candidates who will qualify the examination. Candidates will be called for the counselling round based on the merit list. The counselling process will involve the registration process, choice filling & choice locking, seat allotment, seat acceptance, and payment of admission fee.
