KEAM 2026: The CEE Kerala has started the KEAM Registration 2026 on January 5, 2026. The KEAM Exam 2026 is scheduled to be conducted on April 13, 2026 and then, from April 16 to 25, 2026.

KEAM Exam 2026: The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala has released the registration link for the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) 2026 exam. The link is available on the official website – cee.kerala.gov.in. The KEAM 2026 registration started from January 5, 2026, and the last date for this is January 31, 2026. As per the official notice, the KEAM 2026 exam will be conducted on April 13, 2026 and then, from April 16 to 25, 2026.

The last date to submit the KEAM 2026 application form is January 31, 2026. Candidates should complete and submit their forms before the deadline. Candidates who register for KEAM 2026 will be able to download their admit cards from April 1, 2026, onwards. After the exam, the authority will release the provisional KEAM answer key, enabling candidates to estimate their scores by comparing their responses with the official answers.

KEAM 2026 offers admission to courses in Engineering, Architecture, B.Pharm, MBBS, BDS, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Siddha, Unani, Agriculture, Co-operation & Banking, Climate Change & Environmental Science, B.Tech Biotechnology (under KAU), Forestry, Veterinary Science, and Fisheries.

KEAM Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates who wish to appear for the KEAM entrance examination must fulfil the KEAM eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria will be released along with the official KEAM 2026 prospectus. The prospectus available on the official CEE website will contain detailed KEAM eligibility criteria for candidates who wish to seek admission into various professional courses. Candidates must have acquired age of 17 years or more in order to appear for the entrance exam. The CEE Kerala will release the KEAM admit card on its official website. It is mandatory for the candidates to carry their KEAM admit card to the examination centre on the day of the exam. The admit card contains various details like the candidate’s name, application number, roll number, photograph, signature etc. 

Candidates can check and download the KEAM exam pattern 2026 from the official website - cee.kerala.gov.in. once released. As per the previous year exam pattern, the entrance examination will be conducted in offline mode across various exam centres in Kerala, Mumbai, New Delhi, and Dubai. Candidates will have to appear for two papers: Paper I (Physics & Chemistry) and Paper II (Mathematics). Whereas, candidates seeking admission into medical and architecture courses must qualify for NEET-UG and NATA exams, respectively.

Along with the previous year exam pattern, candidates must also go through the KEAM Syllabus 2026 after the release. The syllabus can be downloaded from the official website of CEE after the release. Candidates must ensure that they focus only on preparing the important topics and not waste their time elsewhere. Candidates must first develop a clear understanding of the exam syllabus and then develop a suitable preparation strategy. 

Candidates can download the previous years’ KEAM question papers from the official website of CEE. Solving previous year's papers can prove to be extremely beneficial for the candidates. Candidates can download the KEAM previous year's papers with the help of the following steps:

  • Scroll down to the end of the page and click on the “KEAM” exam tab
  • Again, scroll down to the page and click on the link for “KEAM Previous Question Papers”
  • Download the required KEAM question paper pdfs and refer to it while preparing for the exams

The CEE Kerala will release the provisional KEAM answer key on the official CEE website. It must be noted that the KEAM answer key will be released for all the versions of the question paper. Candidates can use the provisional answer key to calculate their score in the exam. 

Candidates can also raise objections against the provisional answer key and send it to CEE in the required format. After considering all the complaints against the provisional answer key, CEE will then release the final KEAM 2026 Answer Key They can even download the previous year KEAM answer key pdfs from the official website of CEE Kerala.

The KEAM Result 2026 will be released on the official CEE website. CEE also releases a separate KEAM rank list for various professional courses like engineering, architecture, medical & medical allied courses (except BAMS), BAMS Course, and B.Pharm courses. Different factors are taken into account while preparing the rank lists for the various professional courses. Candidates whose names feature in the rank list will be then eligible to participate in the KEAM counselling process.

Candidates whose names are included in the KEAM Rank List of the various professional courses will be eligible to participate in the KEAM Centralised Allotment Process (CAP). Candidates must note that the seat allotment will be done on the basis of the following factors: course-college options submitted by the candidate, the candidate’s rank in the KEAM entrance exam, and the KEAM reservation criteria. In order to participate in the counselling process, candidates must register themselves through the official CEE portal. After the seat allotment process and the candidate is satisfied with the seat allotted to them, they must visit their respective institute to complete the admission procedure. 

Candidates must note that the KEAM cutoff is released after each round of the counselling process. The cutoff is released in the form of last rank that will be eligible for getting admission into the various professional courses. Candidates can check the cutoff/last rank details for their respective courses by visiting the KEAM candidate portal. It must also be noted that different cutoff/last rank details are released for the various professional courses. 

Various factors affecting the KEAM last rank include number of candidates appearing for the KEAM entrance examination, the difficulty level of the entrance examination, no. of seats available in the participating institutions under various courses, and previous years’ cutoff trends.
