CMAT 2026: Admit Card Out, Exam Pattern, Answer Key, Result, Scorecard, Cutoff

CMAT 2026: The National Testing Agency has released the provisional answer key for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2026 on January 31, 2026. The objection window is open till February 2, 2026 (upto 11:50 PM) at cmat.nta.nic.in. The CMAT exam 2026 was conducted on January 25, 2026, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode, as announced by the National Testing Agency in an official notification. The exam conducting body has released the CMAT Admit Card 2026 on January 21, 2026. NTA has issued the advance intimation of examination cities on January 16, 2026, at cmat.nta.nic.in.

The CMAT application deadline was extended till November 24, 2025. The CMAT 2026 registration started on October 17, 2025, in online mode. The exam conducting body will release the advance city intimation slip and the CMAT admit card 2026 on its official website, cmat.nta.nic.in, before the examination.

The National Testing Agency is prepared to conduct the Common Management Admission Test in January 2026. The test will be conducted for a duration of 3 hours in online mode. The complete exam schedule for the 2026 session is now available on the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT. Though the last date to submit the CMAT application form was November 24, 2025 (till 11:50 PM), the last date for payment of the application fee was November 25, 2025. Candidates registered for the CMAT 2026 exam could access the correction window for the CMAT 2026 application forms from November 26 to 28, 2025.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the CMAT exam for admission to management programs in all AICTE-affiliated colleges and institutes. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institute to appear for the exam.

CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2026

Students who wish to apply for the CMAT 2026 exam must fulfil the eligibility criteria. As per the CMAT eligibility criteria:

• Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university
• Students must have 50% marks in their graduation; 45% marks required for SC/ST/PwD candidates
• There is no age limit to apply for the CMAT 2026 exam
• Only Indian citizens can apply for the exam

CMAT Result 2026

NTA releases the CMAT result on its official website after the successful conclusion of the exam. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results using their roll number and other credentials. NTA releases the CMAT scorecard, which contains the section-wise score and total score obtained by candidates in the exam. 

After the release of the results, participating colleges release the CMAT cutoff for MBA admission separately. Top institutes offer admission to the MBA course to candidates who have a percentile in the range of 98-100. To score above the 99% percentile, students must have a CMAT score of above 330-340 marks.
