CPGET 2025: Osmania University conducts the Common Post-Graduate Entrance Test (CPGET) for admission to various postgraduate courses including Master of Arts (M.A.), P.G. Diploma, and 5 years integrated courses. The participating universities in CPGET which offer postgraduate programs include Osmania University, Telangana University, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kakatiya University, Palamuru University, Satavahana University, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, and Telangana Mahila Vishwavidyalayam. 

The CPGET Examination 2025 will be tentatively conducted in July 2025. The CPGET application form 2025 will be likely released in May 2025. Filling out the application form is the first step toward appearing for the CPGET examination. There is an application fee of INR 800 for the General category and Backward Class category for each subject. For SC/ST/PH candidates, the registration fee is INR 600 for a single subject. For every additional subject, the registration fee is INR 450 for all categories. 

The CPGET admit card is issued four days before the commencement of the examination. The hall tickets for CPGET 2025 will be released on the official website of Osmania University. Candidates can download their hall tickets from the Osmania University official website by entering their registration number, and date of birth, and selecting the exam paper for their entrance test. After downloading the admit card, candidates need to affix their most recent passport-size photograph, which is the same as the one uploaded on the online application form. The hall ticket is a mandatory document for entry to the CPGET examination hall.

CPGET 2025

The CPGET 2025 examination will be of 90 minutes duration and consists of objective-type (multiple-choice) questions. The total marks of the CPGET examination is 100 marks. The exam will consist of multiple varieties of multiple-choice questions based on analogy, matching, classification, and comprehension based on research study/theoretical perspective/ experiment.The CPGET exam is conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT).

The CPGET cutoff marks for candidates of General, EWS, and OBC categories is 25% and there are no minimum cutoff marks for SC and ST candidates. The CPGET results are declared on the official website of Osmania University in the form of a rank card. Candidates will be eligible to secure admission in their respective course and university on the basis of the rank that they have obtained in CPGET.

The CPGET application process is conducted in online mode through the official website of Osmania University. The online application forms for CPGET 2025 will be released in May 2025. In order to fill the online application form, candidates have to login using their registered mobile number, registration ID and date of birth. Candidates must ensure that they have filled in the required details accurately.

Candidates need to upload the scanned copies of the following documents in the application form : 

• Most Recent Passport Size Colour Photograph 
• Signature
• Most Recent Certificates of Caste, EWS, latest income, PH certificate (if applicable)
• Aadhaar Card

CPGET Admit Card 2025

The CPGET admit card is released 4 days before the commencement of the examination. The CPGET hall ticket 2025 will be issued on the official website of Osmania University. The hall ticket is an essential document required for the examination day. Candidates are required to download the admit cards and affix a recent passport size photograph, which is the same as the one uploaded in the online application form.

Step 3 : Enter registration number, date of birth and select exam paper for the entrance test

Step 4 : Click on the ‘download hall ticket’ button

Step 5 : The CPGET hall ticket will be displayed on the screen

CPGET Exam Pattern 2025

• The CPGET exam will be of 90 minutes duration for all the subjects.
• The entrance test consists of 100 multiple-choice based questions.
• The total marks of CPGET is 100 marks. 
• The CPGET exam consists of various varieties of the objective type questions : analogies, matching, comprehension and classification. 

CPGET Result 2025

The results of CPGET 2025 will be declared on the official website of Osmania University. The CPGET results are released in the form a rank card. Before the declaration of results, the answer key and question paper for all subjects is made available for inviting answer key objections. The answer key and question papers are available only for a specific period of time. 

The candidates will secure admission to a course based on their rank in the CPGET exam. In case there is a tie in the rank, the order of merit will be decided on the basis of the following two factors : 

1. Candidate’s age : Candidates who are senior in age will get higher priority. 
2. Percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in their qualifying examination.
