Candidates wishing to appear for the TS EAMCET exam must meet the eligibility criteria. Students failing to meet the eligibility criteria will be disqualified from the exam selection process. Education Qualification

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry Mathematics/Biology from a recognized board/institution.
  • Aspirants must have a minimum 45% marks in relevant subjects in order to be eligible for the exam. Students from reserved category must have a minimum of 40% in relevant subjects.
  • Candidates who have passed or are in the final year of diploma in engineering are also eligible to apply for the exam.

Age Limit Criteria

  • Candidates must be 16 years of age as of December 31 of the year of admission.
  • There is no upper age limit.
  • In case of B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering), and B.Tech. (FT), the candidate must be 17 years old. The maximum age limit is 22 years for general category students and 25 for reserved category students.

  • Candidate must be an Indian Citizen
  • To qualify for local status, the candidate must be a resident of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh.
