GSEB 12th Board Exam 2025: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has released the official academic calendar for Class 12th. The GSEB 12th exams were conducted from February 27 to March 17, 2025, in pen-paper mode. The GSEB HSC (Higher Secondary) examinations are conducted for two streams: Science stream and General (Arts and Commerce) stream.

The GSEB 12th board exams are conducted in three mediums: Gujarati medium, English medium, and Hindi medium. The application form and GSEB HSC admit card 2025 for GSEB higher secondary exams are accessible only by school authorities from the official website of GSEB.

After the completion of the exams, the board will release the GSEB HSC result 2025 in the online mode. Students will be able to check and download their scorecards through the official website - gseb.org by entering the necessary credentials such as registration number/roll number in the result portal. Last year, the board released Gujarat class 12th results for all the streams on May 9, 2024. 

Latest Updates: 

• The Gujarat Board has issued the provisional answer key for GSEB HSC Science stream on March 20, 2025. Students can raise the challenges against the GSEB 12th answer key 2025 by sending an email to the given email ID - gshsebsciencekey@gmail.com by March 24, 2025 (till 6 pm). They have to make the payment of Rs 500 per question to submit their challenges.

GSEB HSC Exam Dates 2025

The GSEB 12th exams 2025 for Science stream were conducted from February 27 to March 10, 2025, whereas GSEB HSC General stream exams were held between February 27 and March 17, 2025.

GSEB HSC Admit Card 2025

The GSEB 12th admit card is an essential document that students are required to carry on the day of the exam, along with valid ID proof. Entry to the examination hall will be prohibited if the student is not carrying the admit card. Only school authorities are eligible to access the hall tickets from the GSEB official website. Candidates need to collect the admit cards from their respective school authorities. 

Schools need to enter their school index number and registered mobile number or email address to access the admit card from GSEB website. The hall ticket contains several essential details such as examination name, student name, student roll number and seat number, examination schedule and examination centre. 

Gujarat Board 12th Admit Card 2025 - Steps to download 

Step 1: Schools are required to visit the GSEB official website

Step 2: On the GSEB official website, select- HSC general hall ticket March 2025 or HSC science hall ticket March 2025

Step 3: Enter the school index number and registered mobile number/email address

Step 4: Fill out the Security Captcha Code and Click on Login 

Step 5: OTP will be sent to registered mobile number/email address

Step 6: Enter the OTP

Step 7: Download and Print the hall tickets 

GSEB HSC Exam Pattern 2025

For most subjects, the examination question paper consists of Part A and Part B, each of which is worth 50 marks. Part A covers multiple-choice questions whereas Part B includes subjective questions. Further, the theory examination is worth 100 marks and the total exam duration is three hours. 

Gujarat Board HSC Result 2025

The GSEB 12th result is expected to be released in May/June 2025. The result date will be announced by the Gujarat board through an official notification. Students need their seat number to check their results on the official website. The GSEB HSC result released on the official website will be provisional in nature. The original marksheets can be collected from the respective schools by students. Last year, the board declared Class 12th results on May 9, 2024.

Step 2: Go to the Results website of GSEB

Step 3: Click on GSEB HSC Result

Step 4: Enter the Seat Number and click on submit button to proceed further

Step 5: The Provisional mark sheet will appear on the screen

Step 6: Go through the details and download it for future use
