IBSAT 2024 Exam - Registration, Eligibility, Exam Date, Pattern, and Syllabus

IBSAT Exam 2024 - The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, Hyderabad (deemed-to-be University) conducts the IBSAT 2024 examination for admission to MBA programs. IBSAT is a proctored online aptitude test that aims to assess the applicant’s abilities in quantitative techniques, data interpretation, data adequacy, vocabulary, analytical reasoning, and reading comprehension.

IBSAT registration 2024 started on July 1 and is currently ongoing on the official website. Candidates can fill out the registration for for IBSAT exam till the third week of December 2024. Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements can fill out the IBSAT application form at ibsindia.org. As per the notification released by IBS Hyderabad, IBSAT exam date is December 28-29, 2024. IBSAT Admit Card will be released at least 7-8 days before the scheduled exam date.

More Exams Accepted for ICFAI MBA Admission 2024:

Candidates preparing for the MBA entrance exam must be aware of the IBSAT syllabus and exam pattern. The question paper consists of problems from mainly four subjects - Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, Data adequacy and Data Interpretation. The IBSAT exam duration is of 2 hours.

IBSAT Eligibility Criteria 2024

Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements to apply for the IBSAT exam. The following criteria must be fulfilled by aspirants is given below: 

• Candidates must have completed graduation with a minimum 50% marks.
• The medium of instruction should be English during graduation
• Applicants must have also completed at least 15 years of education (10+2+3). 
• Candidates in the final year of graduation can also apply for IBSAT 2024. However, they must have completed their graduation requirements (including practical examinations/viva/assignments) before May 31, 2025.
• Candidates not meeting the eligibility criteria of English medium in graduation have to submit the TOEFL/ NELT/ IELTS score by May 31, 2025.
• The eligibility criteria must be checked from August 2025 onwards. Candidates are solely responsible for ensuring they meet the eligibility criteria.

IBSAT Registration 2024

IBSAT application form is released for all IBS Campuses - Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Dehradun, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune. The application forms for IBSAT are out and can be filled till the third week of December 2024. The steps to apply for IBSAT exam 2024 are as follows: 

• Visit the application portal and complete the registration details
• Enter your personal information and contact details
• Upload documents wherever required
• Click on the submit button to proceed to the payment page
• Pay the application fee of INR 1800
• After successful payment, candidates will receive the confirmation mail on their registered email address.

IBSAT Admit Card 2024

The ICFAI Business School will release the IBSAT admit card at least 7-8 days before the scheduled examination date. Candidates who have successfully registered for the IBSAT exam can download the hall tickets from the official website of the institute. The ICFAI business school is yet to announce the IBSAT admit card date 2024.

IBSAT Exam Pattern 2024

Through official notification, ICFAI has released the IBSAT 2024 exam pattern. The same is given in the table below: 

• There are a total of 140 questions in the IBSAT exam
• Each question carries 1 mark
• There is no negative marking in the exam

IBSAT Result 2024

IBSAT result will be tentatively announced in the first week of January 2025. The result is released in the form of a scorecard containing the total marks and rank obtained by candidates.

Aspirants who qualify the IBSAT exam have to participate in the further stages of the selection process.

IBSAT Selection Process

After the IBSAT exam is conducted, selected candidates are called for a Micro Presentation and Personal Interview. The detailed process is given below: 

A Micro-Presentation in the selection process involves a brief talk where candidates showcase their communication and presentation skills, as well as their ability to think quickly. Candidates choose one topic from three options and have a total of 4 minutes: 1 minute for preparation and 3 minutes for the presentation.

The Personal Interview is a crucial part of the selection process, lasting 5-7 minutes per candidate. The interview panel assesses the candidate's attitude and aspirations, general knowledge, communication skills, clarity of thought and expression, and aptitude for a career in management.
