AP EAMCET (AP EAPCET) Eligibility 2026: The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur releases the AP EAMCET eligibility criteria on the official website of APCHE. Candidates seeking admission to their preferred UG program must fulfil the prescribed eligibility criteria. Candidates will be able to fill out the AP EAMCET application form 2026 if they meet the required eligibility criteria. The basic eligibility criteria is that the candidate must have passed 10+2 in a relevant subject with a minimum of 45% marks as an aggregate. It must be noted that there is no maximum age limit to apply for the exam.

AP EAMCET Eligibility Criteria 2026

The conducting body has released the eligibility criteria separately for each course. Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements of the course they want to take admission to. Candidates who are awaiting their 10+2 results can also apply for the AP EAMCET 2026 exam, but their ranks will be valid only if they pass the 10+2 exam with the required aggregate marks.

AP EAMCET Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit

Engineering & Pharmacy Courses: In the case of the Engineering & Pharmacy courses, candidates, candidates must have completed 16 years of age as of December 31, 2026. There is no upper age limit to apply for the exam.

B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Agr. Engineering), B.Tech. (FS & T) and B.Sc. (Agr. Engg): In the case of agriculture courses, candidates must have completed 17 years of age as of December 31, 2026. Also, there is an upper age limit of 22 years. Students from the reserved category can apply for the exam till the age of 25 years.

AP EAMCET Eligibility Criteria: Nationality

• Candidate must be an Indian citizen or must hold a Person of Indian Origin (PIO) or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card.
• Candidate must belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh/Telangana. They must also satisfy the local/non-local status as per the rules and regulations laid down by the government of Andhra Pradesh.

AP EAMCET Eligibility Criteria: Education Qualification

Candidates can check the course-wise educational requirement to apply for the AP EAMCET exam 2026:

Engineering, B.Pharmacy (M.P.C), Pharma.D, B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Agr. Engineering), B.Tech. [Food Science and Technology (FS& T)], B.Sc. [Agriculture Engg] courses:

Candidates must have completed an intermediate exam (10+2 pattern) with mathematics, physics, and chemistry as options, or related vocational courses in engineering and technology, or any other exam deemed to be equivalent by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana.

                                                           OR

Candidates who have passed the Diploma examination in Engineering or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana.

Pharm. D Course

Candidates must have completed an intermediate exam (10+2 pattern) with mathematics/biology, physics, and chemistry as options, or related vocational courses in engineering and technology, or any other exam deemed to be equivalent by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana.

B.Pharm

Candidates should have passed the intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) with Biology, Physics, and Chemistry as options or equivalents to be eligible for the AP EAMCET exam 2026.

B.Tech (Bio-Technology)

Candidates must have passed the intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) with Biology, Physics, and Chemistry as options in order to be eligible for the exam.

B.Sc Nursing

Candidates who have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as mandatory subjects from a recognised board are eligible for the exam. Students must have also scored 45% marks in PCB (aggregate). They must have also passed the English subject separately.

B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.Sc. (Ag) / B.Sc. (Hort) / B.F.Sc. / B.Tech. (FS&T) / B.Sc (Nursing) courses:

Candidates must have successfully completed the intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) or an examination deemed equivalent by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana, in any two or three of the subjects listed against each course below.
