TS POLYCET Exam 2025 : The State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Telangana, has released the TS POLYCET exam date 2025 on the official website. As per the notification, the TS Polycet exam 2025 will be conducted on May 13, 2025. Candidates can expect the TS Polycet Hall Ticket 2025 a few days before the examination. Along with the TS Polycet exam date 2025, the authorities have released the TS Polycet notification. Applicants interested in admission to various diploma courses can fill TS POLYCET application form 2025 at polycet sbtet.telangana.gov.in.

The officials started the TS POLYCET registration 2025 from March 18, 2025. The last date to apply for the TS POLYCET exam 2025 is April 19, 2025. Candidates can complete the TS Polycet application with a late fine of Rs. 100 till April 21, 2025. After the completion of the application form, the officials will relaese the TS Polycet admit card for the eligible candidates. The TS POLYCET (Telangana Polytechnic Common Entrance Test) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by SBTET, Telangana. The exam is conducted annually for students seeking admission in various diploma programs offered by government and private polytechnic colleges in Telangana. The exam is conducted in offline mode, requiring candidates to mark their answers on an Optical Marker Reader (OMR) response sheet.

The TS POLYCET exam 2025 consists of four sections: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Attempting questions from Biology is optional for students who want to take admission in diploma courses in Polytechnic. TS POLYCET Syllabus 2025 is as per the program of class X (S.S.C) examination in the academic year 2024-25 by the board of Telangana. TS POLYCET Marking Scheme consists of a total of 150 questions, carrying 1 mark each and no penalty for wrong answers.

TS POLYCET Eligibility Criteria 2025

Candidates intending to take the TS POLYCET examination are required to fulfil the eligibility criteria given below.

Nationality and Domicile

• The candidate applying must be an Indian Citizen 
• The candidate must be a resident of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh

Educational Qualification

• For admission in diploma courses offered through POLYCET, candidates must have passed the SSC (Class 10) or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Mathematics as one of the subjects
• Candidates belonging to NIOS / APOSS / OTHER Examinations should have passed all  the subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, with a minimum of 35% Marks in each subject.
• Candidates who are appearing for SSC or equivalent examination and whose results are yet to be declared are also eligible to apply.

Age Requirement 

There is no age requirement for the TS POLYCET examination.

TS POLYCET 2025 Exam Pattern

The TS POLYCET exam consists of four sections: Mathematics with 60 questions, and Physics, Chemistry and Biology with 30 questions each. Attempting the Biology questions is optional for students seeking admission in Diploma Courses in Polytechnics.

TS POLYCET Result 2025

SBTET will release the TS POLYCET Result 2025 at the official website after the conclusion of the exam. The scores and rank obtained by the candidate will be available in the form of the TS POLYCET 2025 rank card. The rank cards will display the individual section-wise marks as well as the total marks obtained by the candidate.

It is important to note that two separate ranks will be allotted to the candidates who appeared for TS POLYCET. For diploma courses in Polytechnics, the rank will be issued based on Physics, Chemistry and Maths. However, for Agricultural diploma courses, ranks will be issued on the basis of all four sections (Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology). Attempting the Biology section is optional for the candidates.

TS POLYCET Result 2025 Tie-breaking Rule

If one or more candidates manage to get same score in TS POLYCET 2025 exam then the exam conducting body SBTET can use the tie-breaking rule to determine the rank of candidates.

• If the candidate get higher marks in Mathematics then he/she will be ranked higher.
• If the tie still persists, then candidate with higher marks in Physics will be ranked higher.
• If the tie still persists, candidate who is older gets a higher rank.
• If the tie still persists, candidate with higher marks in qualifying exam will get higher rank.

SBTET, Telangana releases the schedule for TS POLYCET counselling at their official website. The admission into various diploma courses through TS POLYCET will be based on Web Counselling wherein the candidates can opt for desired courses in the order of priority. TS POLYCET 2025 Counselling will comprise registration, document verification, fee payments, web options, seat allotment and reporting to the institutes. Candidates will be able to register themselves for the counselling process online.
