NMAT 2023 examination is administered by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). Registration for NMAT 2023 is currently underway and will conclude on October 10, 2023. The registration fee for NMAT 2023 is INR 2800, plus applicable taxes. GMAC has also initiated the exam scheduling process. Registered candidates have the flexibility to select their exam date until October 12, 2023, with available dates spanning from October 10 to December 19, 2023.

Each candidate can attempt the NMAT 2023 exam up to three times within a year, with a mandatory 15-day gap between consecutive retakes. The highest composite score achieved across all three attempts will be considered for admission into MBA programs. NMAT 2023 follows a specific exam pattern comprising a total of 108 questions, with 36 questions allotted to each of the three sections: Language Skills, Quantitative Skills, and Logical Reasoning.

The NMAT 2023 examination has a duration of 120 minutes, and there are time limits imposed on each section. It's important to note that the medium of instruction for the exam is exclusively English. GMAC is currently accepting the NMAT 2023 applications on its official website. The last date to register for the NMAT 2023 exam online is October 10, 2023. Only candidates who fulfil the eligibility requirements can fill out the application form. Interested students can check the application process below:

  • Begin by registering on the NMAT official website at mba.com/exams/nmat 
  • Upon receiving your GMAC login ID and Password, start the NMAT registration process.
  • While completing the application form, provide your contact information, personal and educational details, email ID, and work experience information.
  • Choose the specific institutes to which you intend to apply.
  • Upload your passport-size photographs and signatures in the prescribed format.
  • Ensure that all the information you've provided is accurate by double-checking it.

NMAT 2023 Exam Scheduling

Candidates who are preparing for the NMAT 2023 exam must know that they are free to schedule their exam. The NMAT 2023 exam schedule window is open from August 1, 2023 to October 12, 2023. The exam can be rescheduled for October 10, 2023 to December 19, 2023. 

Candidates can also reschedule their exam. The NMAT 2023 exam rescheduling can be done from August 1, 2023, to December 16, 2023. 

NMAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Students who are preparing for the NMAT 2023 exam and want to register for it must fulfil the eligibility criteria. The NMAT 2023 eligibility requirements are as follows:

  • Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution or university.
  • They must have a minimum of 50% marks in their graduation.
  • Candidates in the final year of their graduation and awaiting their results can apply for the exam. However, the final admission is subject to the marksheet of graduation.
  • There is no age limit criteria to apply for NMAT exam.

NMAT 2023 Admit Card 

NMAT 2023 admit card is available within 24 hours after the successful submission of the application form. Candidates who registered for NMAT can download their admit cards using their login email ID and password. 

After downloading the admit card, students must take a printout of it and check the details mentioned on it. Any discrepancy in the admit card must be reported to the exam conducting body.

NMAT 2023 Exam Pattern

NMAT 2023 is conducted online and can be given at test centres and at home as well. Students who choose the Internet-Based Test (IBT) mode can take their test at home in a proctored environment.

NMAT 2023 Syllabus

The NMAT exam is divided into three main sections, each focusing on a different set of skills.

The first section is Language Skills. This section tests your proficiency in the English language. It includes topics such as Reading Comprehension, English Grammar, Word Meaning, and Verbal Ability. Reading Comprehension assesses your ability to understand and interpret written text, while English Grammar tests your understanding of the rules and structure of the English language. Word Meaning and Verbal Ability evaluate your vocabulary and your ability to use words effectively in communication.

The second section is Quantitative Skills. This section measures your numerical ability and problem-solving skills. It covers a wide range of mathematical topics including Arithmetic, Trigonometry, Geometry, Algebra, Mensuration, and Modern Math. Arithmetic involves basic calculations and number operations, while Trigonometry and Geometry deal with the properties of shapes and angles. Algebra involves solving equations and understanding mathematical relationships, Mensuration deals with the measurement of geometric figures, and Modern Math covers advanced mathematical concepts.

The third section is Logical Reasoning. This section evaluates your ability to analyze information and solve problems logically. It includes topics such as Coding-Decoding, Critical Reasoning, Statement Conclusions, Puzzles, Blood Relations, etc. Coding-Decoding tests your ability to decipher codes or patterns, Critical Reasoning assesses your ability to evaluate arguments and make logical deductions, Statement Conclusions involves drawing conclusions from given statements, Puzzles test your problem-solving skills, and Blood Relations involve understanding relationships based on given information.

Each section of the NMAT exam is designed to test a different set of skills, making it a comprehensive assessment for admission into management programs.

NMAT 2023 Question Papers

NMAT 2023 question papers must be solved by aspiring students. It allows them to know the exam the types of questions asked in the examination. Candidates also get an idea of the past difficulty level trend by solving previous question papers.

NMAT 2023 Result

NMAT 2023 result is announced by GMAC within 48 hours of taking the exam. Candidates who took the exam will be able to check results using their login credentials. The result is announced in the form of a scorecard containing section-wise and total scores obtained by candidates. NMAT score is calculated on a scale range of 36-360 marks.
