NEET UG Application Form 2024: Direct Link, Steps to Apply, Exam Dates

NEET application form 2024: NEET UG application form is the first step for a candidate to start their medical career journey. The NEET UG application process has been extended. The application form was released on February 9, 2024. The NEET form filling process 2024 is being held at the new official website - neet.ntaonline.in. The application form closed on April 10, 2024, while the form correction process closed on April 12, 2024.

Meanwhile, National Testing Agency has also released the NEET exam dates 2024. As per the details, the NEET UG Exam 2024 will be held on May 5, 2024. Before carrying out the NEET form filling process, candidates should check the NEET UG eligibility and if they fulfil the criteria, then they are eligible to appear for the examination.

Candidates who are succesful in registering will be eligible to download their NEET UG admit card. The admit card is an important document for the students. Without the admit card, candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination venue. 

NEET Application Form 2024

NEET application form 2024 was re-released by NTA till April 10. Candidates who were unable to register for the NEET UG exam registered for the exam. Candidates can register using the following options:

• DigiLocker
• Aadhar Card
• ABC ID
• PAN Card
• Passport
• School ID
• Other government issued ID with photograph

Once the NEET form filling procedure is finished, candidates will be given an opportunity to make any necessary adjustments or corrections. The application form consists of several steps including filling in the information, uploading the documents and submitting the application fees.

The application fee for the NEET UG exam in 2024 varies depending on the type of category the candidate belongs to. Further, those candidates who successfully fill the application form will be eligible to get the NEET admit card.  

NEET UG Application 2024 Direct Link 

Candidates interested in applying for NEET UG exam 2024 will be able to apply online. The application form was released on February 9, 2024. Medical aspirants can apply for NEET UG exam at neet.ntaonline.in. The NEET UG application window is now closed. Meanwhile, NTA has reopened the NEET form correction facility till April 12, 2024. 

NEET UG Application 2024: Foreign Exam Centres

As per the latest notice, NEET UG applicants can now also apply for the examination in 14 foreign cities. This notice is contrary to NTA's prior decision to not conduct the exam outside India this year. The following new exam cities have been added to the list of NEET UG 2024 examination centres. Candidates who already filled the application form can change their centre as per the following cities this year.

Step 1: Registration 

Candidates must visit the official new NEET UG website i.e., neet.ntaonline.in.

On the homepage, students will find the link that reads "Fill Registration Form” or the invitation for NEET UG 2024 Registration -- click on that 

Now, the candidate needs to click on 'New Registration' and read the instructions

Now, candidates have to enter the following details in their NEET UG form:

Step 2: Apply online for NEET 2024

→ Candidates need to click on 'click here to login' 

→ Candidates need to log in using their application number and the given password

→ You will be able to access the NEET application form

→ The application will be pre-filled with the information you provide at registration; it cannot be modified.

Check the details carefully as candidates cannot change the details once they have finally submitted the NEET application form 2023. 

Click "Yes, please do" on the confirmation pop-up to submit the properly filled-out application form.

Step 3: Upload scanned images

→Click on “Upload your recent documents”

→ Select the files to be uploaded

→ Click on “Next”

Step 4: Make Payment

Choose the preferred payment method (SBI, Syndicate, HDFC, ICICI, Paytm Payment Gateway using Debit Card, Credit Card, Net-Banking, or UPI).

Step 5: Print Confirmation

The completed NEET application form and confirmation slip should be saved and printed.

NEET Registration 2024: Difficulties faced by candidates

Since the commencement of NEET 2024 application process, candidates have been facing certain issues. Given below are some of the common difficulties faced by the candidates during NEET form filling process:

• Payment confirmation errors: Candidates have complained about not receiving payment confirmation notification even after the amount is deducted from their accounts. For this issue, NTA has shared bank helpline numbers in the NEET UG information bulletin 2024.
• Automatic logout in the middle of NEET form filling process: Candidates have reported that their accounts got logged out while they were in the middle of filling their application form. If this issue persists, candidates are advised to contact NTA authorities via email or helpline numbers.
