VITEEE Application Form 2026: The Vellore Institute of Technology has begun the VITEEE 2026 registration process on its official website, viteee.vit.ac.in, with the application form made available online on October 24, 2025. Candidates aspiring for B.Tech admissions through VITEEE can apply online for it. The detailed schedule for VITEEE 2026 is published along with the official information brochure. The application deadline is March 31, 2026, while the slot booking process is expected to commence in the second week of April 2026 on the official portal, as per the official VIT website.

The VITEEE 2026 exam is expected to be held from April 8, 2026, to May 3, 2026, with the official dates announced by Vellore Institute of Technology on its official website. The Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) is conducted for admission into undergraduate engineering programs across the VIT group of institutions.

Before applying, candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria. For VITEEE 2026, applicants should have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with at least 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology. A relaxation to 50% is provided for candidates belonging to SC/ST and OBC categories.

VITEEE Exam 2026: Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying for the VITEEE exam 2026, if any candidate fails to meet the eligibility criteria he/she will be disqualified from the examination at any stage:

• Candidates should be a resident/ non resident/OCI/PIO holder.
• NRI candidates can apply directly through the NRI application form.  
• Candidates who were born on or after July 1st, 2003 are able and eligible to fill the VITEEE exam application form. The date of birth which is mentioned in the High School Certificate will be considered original. 
• Candidates who are applying for the UG engineering admission must have a minimum 60% in physics, mathematics, biology and chemistry in the qualifying exam. 

The VITEEE 2026 application fee for General category candidates is INR 1,350 (including GST). Candidates must pay the fee online using net banking, credit card, debit card, or Paytm. NRI students must pay 90 USD online using a credit card.

Note: At the time of application fee payment, if the amount is debited, candidates are advised to not submit a new application. They should wait at least 24 hours and then try to pay again using the same registered email address.If the amount is not debited, the candidate can try to pay again.

VITEEE Application Form 2026 - Guidelines for Photo and Signature Upload

As per the official notification, candidates are required to follow the below mentioned guidelines while uploading their scanned copy of Photo and Signature: 

• Color Photographs must be uploaded and should be taken professionally in a studio.
• Use of a light background is mandatory while taking a photo (White/Off-white Background Only)
• Full Face and Ears should be visible in the photo; no tilting of the head and both eyes should be open.
• File should be in JPEG format
• File size should be 20 kb and 300 kb
• Dimension for photo is Width(300 to 400 pixels) X Height (400 to 550 pixels)
• For signature, candidates must draw a rectangular box of size 6 cm (width) X 2 cm (height) on A4 white paper. Sign with a dark blue or black pen within the box.
• Scan the signature and save it in JPEG format
• Dimension should be 3.5 cm (width) X 1.5 cm (height).
• The scanned signature image size should be within 20 kB to 300 kB

Once the VITEEE 2026 registration process is over, candidates can check the status of their application with the help of the following steps:

• Find the link for "VITEEE 2026 Application Status”
• Enter your VITEEE 2026 application number and verification code
• Click on the "Submit” tab
• Your VITEEE 2026 application status will be displayed on the screen
