GATE Answer Key 2025 release date is February 27 (Out). The official date has been confirmed by IIT Roorkee. GATE answer key 2025 link is activated at goaps.iitr.ac.in. The conducting body will allow candidates to raise challenges against the GATE answer key 2025 using the candidates’ login portal. GATE 2025 answer key challenge fee is INR 500 per question. Aspirants must raise objections only when they are sure about the answer to the particular question. Candidates can raise GATE answer key challenge from February 27, 2025, to March 1, 2025. GATE result 2025 will be announced on March 19, 2025 after considering the objections. IITR will release the GATE final answer key along with the result. The result is released in the form of a scorecard containing the marks obtained by candidates. After the release of the result, GATE Counselling 2025 will be conducted.

GATE Answer Key 2025 - Steps to calculate score

Follow the steps given below to calculate the GATE exam scores: 

Count Correct Answers:

• Identify the total number of questions you answered correctly.
• Assign the marks allotted for each correct answer.

Deduct Marks for Wrong Answers:

• Calculate the marks deducted for incorrect answers (applicable only for MCQs and MSQs).
• Remember, there is no negative marking for Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.

Use the Formula to Calculate Total Marks:

GATE Response Sheet 2025

Along with the answer key, IIT Roorkee also released the GATE response sheet 2025 for candidates who appeared for the exam.
