NEET MDS 2024: Counselling, Application, Eligibility, Pattern, Syllabus & Cutoff

NEET MDS 2024: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) conducts the NEET MDS exam every year. MDS stands for Master of Dental Surgery. The exam is for students who wish to take admission in postgraduate dental programs in various dental colleges in India. 

This year, the NEET MDS exam was held on March 18, 2024. The result for the same was declared on April 3, 2024 by the National Board of Examinations. Students who wish to appear for NEET MDS will be able to register for the next year online. 

NEET MDS Cut Off 2024 Reduced

As per the latest update in the NEET MDS result and counselling process, the Ministry of health and family welfare has decided to reduce the cut off for all cateogories of candidates in NEET MDS. The cut off marks have been reduced by 21.692 percentile. This step has been taken to fill the remaining vacant seats in MDS counselling. 

NBEMS will now announce revised result for NEET MDS at the official website - nbe.edu.in. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official website regularly for latest updates.

NEET MDS Application Form 2024

Candidates who wish to appear for NEET MDS exam are required to first register themselves online. The NEET MDS application process is conducted at the official website - natboard.edu.in. While registering online, students are required to enter the required information in the form. Along with that, they are also required to upload scanned copies of documents. Once done, candidates have to submit choices of their preferred examination centres. Then, candidates are required to pay the application fees and submit the form.

Candidates interested in applying for NEET MDS exam can check the eligibility requirements provided below: 

• Candidate must have a Bachelor in Dental Surgery degree from a recognized institute 
• Candidate must be registered with the State Dental Council and must have obtained provisional/permanent registration
• Candidate must have undergone a compulsory internship of 1 year at a recognized dental college

NEET MDS Admit Card 2024

Only the candidates who have successfully completed their NEET MDS registration process will be eligible to download their hall tickets. NEET MDS admit card will be made available online at nbe.edu.in. 

NEET MDS Result 2024

Once the exam is successfully completed, the NBEMS will release NEET MDS results online at nbe.edu.in. The result will determine whether the candidate has passed or failed in their NEET MDS exam. Those candidates who qualify in NEET MDS exam will be eligible for counselling rounds. This year, the NEET MDS result was declared on April 3, 2024. Along with the result, NBE also releases the NEET MDS cut off.

NEET MDS Counselling 2024

NEET MDS counselling process is currently underway at the official website of Medical Counselling Committee. Candidates can register for NEET MDS counselling round 2 since round 1 is now concluded. Only those candidates are eligible for NEET MDS counselling, who qualified in the exam and have achieved score above the NEET MDS cut off range.
