VITEEE Exam Pattern 2026 - Marking Scheme, Negative Marking, Exam Duration

VITEEE Exam Pattern 2026: The VITEEE 2026 exam will be held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode and will include 125 multiple-choice questions covering Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology, English, and Aptitude. The exam duration will be 2 hours 30 minutes, and the medium of instruction will be English. Each question carries 1 mark, with no negative marking for wrong answers or unanswered questions.

Candidates opting for the MPCEA stream (Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry/English/Aptitude) will be eligible to apply for all B.Tech. programs at VIT. Those opting for the BPCEA stream (Biology/Physics/Chemistry/English/Aptitude) will be considered only for bio-stream related B.Tech. programs, such as Bioengineering at VIT Bhopal, Biotechnology at VIT Vellore, CSE with a specialization in Bioinformatics at VIT Vellore, and ECE with a specialization in Biomedical Engineering at VIT Vellore.

Candidates who choose the MPCEA stream (Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry/English/Aptitude) are eligible for all B.Tech. degree programmes at VIT.

BPCEA

Candidates who choose the BPCEA stream (Biology/Physics/Chemistry/English/Aptitude) are eligible only for the following B.Tech. Bio-stream degree programmes:

• Biotechnology at VIT Vellore
