JEE Main Admit Card 2025 - The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the Session 2 hall ticket for the JEE Main exam at jeemain.nta.nic.in. NTA has released the JEE Main city slip for the session 2 exam on March 20, 2025.

Candidates must also take note of things that are not allowed in the JEE Main exam centre. If any of these items are found with the candidate, he or she will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. Below is the list of prohibited items:

  • Blank or printed papers
  • Mobile Phones, Calculator, Ear Phone, Microphone
  • Candidates must also avoid electronic watches.
  • Candidates must also not bring Log tables, camera, slide recorder, etc.

Candidates must read the JEE Main exam day instructions on their admit card thoroughly. Reading exam day instructions will help candidates understand the do's and don'ts of taking the exam.

  • JEE Main aspirants will not be permitted to bring any items other than those listed on their admit card.
  • In the examination room, there will be blank paper sheets for rough work.
  • Before leaving the examination hall, candidates must write their name and roll number at the top of the sheet and return the sheets and admit card to the invigilator.
  • Diabetic students will be permitted to bring eatables such as sugar tablets/fruits and clear water bottles to the examination hall/room. They will not, however, be permitted to bring packaged foods such as chocolates, candy, and sandwiches.
  • Candidates must sit in the seat assigned to them.
  • Candidates will only be permitted to take the test at the designated exam centre.
  • It is not permitted to wear a watch inside the exam hall.
  • Once the exam begins, no candidate will be permitted to enter the exam centre.
  • Candidates who do not have an admit card will be unable to take the exam.
  • It is not permitted to leave the exam hall before the exam has concluded.
  • Changes to JEE Main 2025 exam centres will not be considered.

The National Testing Agency has laid down certain rules and guidelines that must be followed by candidates. Upon breaching the JEE Main exam rules, strict action will be taken against the candidate. The following are the rules that are mandatory to follow by every candidate: 

  • If a candidate is found in possession of any item or article that has been prohibited by NTA, the candidature will be cancelled immediately. These items include - stationery item, communication device, accessories, eatable items, ornaments or any other material or information relevant or not relevant to the examination in the paper concerned.
  • Impersonation or preparing material for copying in the JEE Main exam 2025
  • Giving or Receiving assistance to/from fellow candidates of any kind (directly or indirectly) or attempting to do so will result in the cancellation of candidature of an aspirant.
  • Trying to communicate or contact with any person other than Examination Staff will lead to the breach of rules; hence invites the strict action against the candidate
  • Threatening examination staff or any authority will result in the cancellation of candidature
  • Using any undesirable method to attempt the questions in the exams is the breach of rule
  • Manipulation and fabrication of online documents viz. Admit Card, Self- Declaration, score card, certificates issued by any Government authority etc
  • Forceful entry/exit from Exam Centre/Hall without permission from staff there is not allowed
  • Affixing/Uploading of wrong/morphed photograph/signature on the application form/admit card will be penalized with strict action against candidates
