JEE Main Admit Card 2024 - The National Testing Agency had released the admit card for JEE Main session 2 exam at the official website-  jeemain.nta.in. Prior to the release of the admit cards, NTA also published the JEE Main City Intimation Slip for both Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates who appeared for JEE Main Session 2 exam from April 4, 2024, to April 12, 2024 can access the admit cards from the JEE Main website by entering their application number, date of birth, course (B.Arch/BPlan or BTech) and security pin.

It must be noted that the JEE Main 2024 admit card is an essential document that the candidates must preserve carefully for counselling and admission process. The dates for counselling will be released soon after the declaration of JEE Main 2024 results by the official authorities.

JEE Main Session 2 Admit Card 2024

NTA has released the JEE Main admit card on its official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in. Only registered candidates can download the admit card using their registration number and password. The conducting body had previously released the JEE Main City Intimation Slip which includes details like exam date, exam centre and address, and shift timing. 

The admit card entails details like candidates’ name, mother’s and father’s name, exam centre, exam date, exam timing, and category. Candidates must also ensure their admit card has all the correct details they have filled in the JEE Main 2024 application form.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the JEE Main city intimation slip 2024 for April session at the official website. The dates for JEE Main Session 2 were April 4, 2024, to April 12, 2024. Only those students who had successfully registered for the exam could download their JEE Main admit card 2024.

JEE Main Admit Card 2024 - Documents to Carry

Candidates taking the JEE Main exam must bring certain documents with them in addition to their admit card. It is mandatory to bring these documents because aspirants will be denied entry to the exam centre if they do not. The following are the documents that candidates must carry:

Candidates must also take note of things that are not allowed in the JEE Main exam centre. If any of these items are found with the candidate, he or she will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. Below is the list of prohibited items:

• Blank or printed papers
• Mobile Phones, Calculator, Ear Phone, Microphone
• Candidates must also avoid electronic watches.
• Candidates must also not bring Log tables, camera, slide recorder, etc.

JEE Main Exam Day Instructions

Candidates must read the JEE Main exam day instructions on their admit card thoroughly. Reading exam day instructions will help candidates understand the do's and don'ts of taking the exam.

• JEE Main aspirants will not be permitted to bring any items other than those listed on their admit card.
• In the examination room, there will be blank paper sheets for rough work.
• Before leaving the examination hall, candidates must write their name and roll number at the top of the sheet and return the sheets and admit card to the invigilator.
• Diabetic students will be permitted to bring eatables such as sugar tablets/fruits and clear water bottles to the examination hall/room. They will not, however, be permitted to bring packaged foods such as chocolates, candy, and sandwiches.
• Candidates must sit in the seat assigned to them.
• Candidates will only be permitted to take the test at the designated exam centre.
• It is not permitted to wear a watch inside the exam hall.
• Once the exam begins, no candidate will be permitted to enter the exam centre.
• Candidates who do not have an admit card will be unable to take the exam.
• It is not permitted to leave the exam hall before the exam has concluded.
• Changes to JEE Main 2024 exam centres will not be considered.
