CBSE Result 2026

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce the class 10 Exam 1 results by April-end and Exam 2 result by June-end. While, the CBSE class 12 board exam results will be out in May, 2026. The CBSE board result 2026 will be declared on the official website. Till last year, the board announced the CBSE Board Result 2026 Class 10 and 12 on the same day, however, this year, results will be out on different dates. Students can check and download their scores from the official websites - cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in.

CBSE will be conducting the Class 10 board exams twice this year where appearing for the exam 1, scheduled to be held in February-March, is compulsory. Those who wish to score better can appear for the exam 2 can appear for the Class 10 exam in May. These students will have the option to reattempt up to three subjects from science, mathematics, social science, and languages in the second exam session for improved scores.

Once the CBSE result 2026 are out, students will have access to their CBSE board provisional marksheet with their login credentials such as roll number, school number, admit card Id and date of birth etc. 

In 2025, over 44 lakh students appeared for their CBSE exams. Of them, as many as 24.12 lakh had appeared for CBSE Class 10 and 16,92,794 students appeared for CBSE Class 12 exam. Last year, the overall pass percentage for the CBSE Class 12 Result was 88.39%, a minor increase from 2024's 87.98%. Similarly, of the 23,71,939 students who appeared for the Class 10 CBSE exams across 84 subjects, 22,21,636 students passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 93.66% for the year.
