GATE Admit Card 2023: The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore released the GATE Admit Card on January 03, 2024. Candidates who have successfully registered for the examination will be able to download their admit cards with their login credentials. The GATE application form must be correctly filled out and submitted to obtain the admit card. Aspirants have to visit the GOAPS portal to access their GATE admit card. The GATE admit card is a mandatory document to carry to the examination centre on exam day. The GATE 2023 exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 3, 4, 10 & 11, 2024. Candidates failing to bring their admit card will be barred from taking the examination.

The GATE admit card will have information like the name and category of the candidate, exam date, exam centre, and exam timings. It will also contain the candidate’s photograph and signature as well. Students are advised to check their admit card thoroughly and inform the concerned authorities in case of any discrepancy.

How to Download GATE Admit Card 2024?

GATE admit card can be downloaded using login credentials from the GOAPS portal. The steps to below the GATE admit card are as follows:

  • Visit the official website of GATE
  • Click on the ‘GATE Admit Card Link’
  • Upon clicking the link, candidates are required to enter their Enrollment ID and password.
  • The admit card will be displayed on the screen once you are successfully logged in.
  • Download and take a printout of the admit card
  • Verify the details mentioned on the admit card.

GATE Exam Day Instructions

Students are needed to follow all the instructions listed on the GATE admit card 2024. Here is a list of guidelines that aspirants must adhere to at the examination centre.

  • Candidates must arrive at the exam centre on the exam date and time specified on their admission card.
  • To allow for centre frisking, applicants are urged to arrive at the exam venue at least 30 minutes before the exam's start time.
  • Personal calculators are not allowed to be carried by students. On the computer screen, there will be virtual scientific calculators.
  • Also, avoid carrying watches, phones, and other electrical devices.

For Registration Number

  • Click on the “Forgot Enrollment ID” link.
  • Enter your registered mobile number
  • The Enrollment ID will be sent to the registered mobile number and email address of the candidate.

 

For Password

  • Click on “Request for OTP” if you have forgotten your password.
  • An OTP will be sent to the candidates’ registered mobile number
  • Candidates are required to submit the OTP they have received.
  • Once the OTP is submitted, candidates can reset their passwords.

Do I need to keep my GATE 2023 admit card after the conclusion of the exam?

Yes, aspirants who are taking the exam must save their GATE Admit Card 2023 after the exam since they will require it for GATE 2023 Counselling.
