BSEB 12th Exam 2026: Bihar Board Matric Date Sheet, Pattern, Syllabus, Admit Card

Bihar Board 12th Exam 2026 will be conducted from February 2 to 13, 2026, in pen-paper mode. The The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the detailed datesheet for the BSEB Inter exams on November 29, 2025, in online mode. Students can download their Bihar board 12th timetable from the official website of the board, seniorsecondary.biharboardonline.com, biharboardonline.com. 

The BSEB class 12 exam is conducted annually and it is held in pen-and-paper format. The board releases the detailed exam pattern, syllabus and mock papers, subject-wise on its official website. Students are advised to download the latest syllabus and exam pattern for comprehensive preparation of the Bihar board senior secondary exams 2026. The BSEB 12th result 2026 will be declared soon after the exams, tentatively in March 2026. Students will able to check their board result from the official website using their roll code and roll number in the designated spaces. 

In the last academic session (2024-25), the Bihar 12th board exams were held from February 1 to 15, 2025. The BSEB inter results were announced on March 25, 2025 at 1:15 PM. The overall pass percentage was 86.50%.

• Bihar board intermediate exam time table 2026 was released on November 29, 2026 at the official website of the board.
• BSEB Sent-up exam 2026 class 12 is being conducted from November 19 in pen-paper mode. It is mandatory for all the students to clear the sent-up examination in all subjects to appear for the Bihar board class 12 exam 2026. 
• Bihar board class 12 dummy admit card 2026 is available on the official website till November 27, 2025 for rectification of  discrepancies, if any. 
• BSEB has released the Bihar board 12th Sent-Up exam dates on its official X handle. Students passing the BSEB class 12 sent-up exams will only be eligible for the Bihar board exams 2026 class 12. The Bihar inter sent-up exams will be conducted from November 19 to 26, 2025. However, the practical exams are scheduled between November 27 to 29, 2025.

Bihar Board Class 12th Admit Card 2026

The Bihar board releases the BSEB class 12 admit card in online mode. Only school administrators can download and distribute hall tickets to the registered students. They are advised to go through all the details mentioned on it carefully after downloading the admit cards. Students are mandated to carry their admit cards on the day of the examination. 

Bihar Board Class 12 Syllabus 2026

The Bihar board prescribes the BSEB class 12 syllabus. The syllabus is released on the official website in the PDF format. Bihar Board 12th Exam Pattern 2026

The Bihar board issued the BSEB class 12 exam pattern on its official website. Furthermore, the main goal of the BSEB class 12 exam pattern is to provide candidates with information such as the duration of the exam, whether the exam has a negative marking, the mode of examination, and other pertinent details. 

Candidates must note that the BSEB Class 12 test is divided into two sections: theory and practical. Furthermore, the passing marks for theory and practice are not the same. In addition, each stream's marking system is divided into two sections, and candidates must pass each section with the required passing marks. Also, candidates should be aware that BSEB 12th exams contain 50% MCQ questions. Those topics that include both theory and practice, on the other hand, will only have 35 MCQ in the theory test. The exam will last 3 hours and 15 minutes.

As per the data released, a total of 12,80,211 students appeared for the BSEB intermediate (class 12) exam 2025, of them, 11,07,330 passed. The exams were held in 1,677 exam centres across the state. The overall pass percentage was 86.50%.

BSEB Class 12 Compartment Exam 2026

BSEB also conducts the class 12th compartment exam for those students who failed any subject in the annual exam. To get the passing certificate students are required to re-appear for that particular subject. The board releases the dates for the Bihar 12th board compartment examination. For the acdemic year, 2024-25, the Bihar board 12th compartment exam applications were submitted from April 1 to 8, 2025, in online mode. The BSEB inter compartment result were out on May 31, 2025.
