KCET Application Form 2026: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced that the KCET 2026 application process will start from January 27, 2026, onwards, through online mode. Eligible and interested candidates will be able to fill out the registration form on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

The last date to submit the KCET 2026 application form is likely to be the last week of February 2026, with the deadline for online payment of application fees also expected in the same month. The Karnataka UGCET (KCET) 2026 exam is scheduled to be conducted from April 22 to 24, 2026. The examination will be held in English and Kannada mediums across designated test centres in the state.

Candidates must note that the KCET application fees will vary for different categories.  For the Karnataka Origin Candidates (General & OBC), the fees is Rs 500. Whereas for the Karnataka Origin Candidates (ST & SC), the fees is Rs 250. Candidates who reside outside of Karnataka and wish to appear for the entrance exam will have to pay Rs 750/- as the application fees. While candidates from outside of India will be required to pay an application fees of Rs 5000.

Candidates who successfully submit the KCET 2026 application form will receive the KCET admit card 2026 a few days before the commencement of the exam. Candidates must note that the admit card is the most important document that needs to be carried to the examination hall. Applicants can download their KCET admit card by visiting the official KEA website.

Candidates who wish to appear for KCET 2026 can apply at the official website. Given below are the steps to know how to fill out the KCET application form 2026 online.

Step 1: Visit the official website of KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority) - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/

Step 2: Click on the “UGCET - 2026 Online Application Link”

Step 3: Next, click on the “New User” link and register 

Step 4: Enter the required details like your name, address, educational qualifications etc. in the online registration form 

Step 5: Click on the “Submit” button

Step 6: After successful registration, the candidate will receive an application number and user ID at their registered mobile number

Step 7: Candidate’s application number and user ID will also be displayed on their screen

Step 8: Next, log into the KEA website using your user ID and password and fill up the required details in the KCET application form 2026

Step 9: Candidates must fill the details in the KCET application form “tab-wise”, that is, one after the other. These details will include general information, reservation details, RD details, educational details, declaration by the candidate and application fee payment. In the RD details menu, candidates are required to upload the scanned images of their latest photograph, signature & left-hand thumb impression in the given fields

Step 10: After filling in the details, carefully review the KCET application form 2026. If any edits are required, log into the candidate portal and make the changes

Step 11: Select the declaration and pay the requisite KCET application fee

Step 12: Make the online payment of the Karnataka CET application fees by selecting an appropriate payment gateway

After filling out the KCET application form, if any candidate wants to make the corrections, they can edit the application form within the stipulated time given by the officials. The schedule for KCET application form correction will be published on the official website of KEA. The steps to make corrections in their KCET 2026 application form are as follows:

Step 1: Go to the official website of KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority)

Step 2: Click on the link for “UG CET 2026 Online Application Edit” or a similar phrase

Step 3: Log into the website using your user ID and other required credentials

Step 4: Make changes in the required fields and click on the “Declare” button

Step 5: Save and submit the changes made in the application form by clicking on the “Submit” button
