KCET Application Form 2026: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has again extended the deadline for the KCET 2026 application process, giving all the aspiring students a last chance to register. Now, the last date to submit the KCET 2026 application form has been revised to February 27, 2026 till 11:59 PM, with the deadline for online payment of application fees as March 03, 2026, up to 05:30 PM. Eligible and interested candidates will be able to register on the official website of KEA - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. As per the official date extension announcement, the authority has clarified that the last date for the registration process will not be extended again under any circumstances. Around 3,15,713 candidates have already registered for the exam as of February 21, 2026. The Karnataka UGCET (KCET) 2026 exam is scheduled to be conducted from April 22 to 24, 2026. 

Candidates must note that the KCET application fees will vary for different categories.  For the Karnataka Origin Candidates (General & OBC), the fee is Rs 500. Whereas for the Karnataka Origin Candidates (ST & SC), the fee is Rs 250. Candidates who reside outside of Karnataka and wish to appear for the entrance exam will have to pay Rs 750/- as the application fee. While candidates from outside of India will be required to pay an application fee of Rs 5000.

Candidates who wish to appear for KCET 2026 can apply at the official website. Given below are the steps to know how to fill out the KCET application form 2026 online.

Step 1: Visit the official website of KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority) - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/

Step 2: Click on the “UGCET - 2026 Online Application Link”

Step 3: Next, click on the “New User” link and register 

Step 4: Enter the required details like your name, address, educational qualifications etc. in the online registration form 

Step 5: Click on the “Submit” button

Step 6: After successful registration, the candidate will receive an application number and user ID at their registered mobile number

Step 7: Candidate’s application number and user ID will also be displayed on their screen

Step 8: Next, log into the KEA website using your user ID and password and fill up the required details in the KCET application form 2026

Step 9: Candidates must fill the details in the KCET application form “tab-wise”, that is, one after the other. These details will include general information, reservation details, RD details, educational details, declaration by the candidate and application fee payment. In the RD details menu, candidates are required to upload the scanned images of their latest photograph, signature & left-hand thumb impression in the given fields

Step 10: After filling in the details, carefully review the KCET application form 2026. If any edits are required, log into the candidate portal and make the changes

Step 11: Select the declaration and pay the requisite KCET application fee

Step 12: Make the online payment of the Karnataka CET application fees by selecting an appropriate payment gateway

Step 13: Take out the final printout of the application form for future reference

After filling out the KCET application form, if any candidate wants to make the corrections, they can edit the application form within the stipulated time given by the officials. Step 1: Go to the official website of KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority)

Step 2: Click on the link for “UG CET 2026 Online Application Edit” or a similar phrase

Step 3: Log into the website using your user ID and other required credentials

Step 4: Make changes in the required fields and click on the “Declare” button

Step 5: Save and submit the changes made in the application form by clicking on the “Submit” button
