KCET Application Form 2024: Steps to Apply, Documents Required, Fees & Correction Window

KCET 2024 Application Form: KCET application forms are released on the official website of Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). The KCET exam 2024 is scheduled to be conducted from April 18 and 19, 2024. Candidates who fulfill the KCET 2024 eligibility criteria can fill out the online application form by entering the necessary details in the registration form at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

Latest Updates:

• KEA will re-open the KCET registration window on March 30, 2024, from 11 am, to April 1, 2024, upto 4 pm.
• The KEA has re-opened the registration window for the KCET exam on March 12, 2024, from 11 am. Candidates who are yet to register for the entrance exam have the final opportunity to register and apply.

• The KCET application window will be made available till March 15, 2024, upto 11.59 pm, and candidates can make the payment of the fees by March 16, 2024, up to 5.30 pm.

KCET Registration Form 2024 - Direct Link 

The KCET application fees will vary for different categories. For the Karnataka Origin Candidates (General & OBC), the fees is Rs 500/-. Whereas for the Karnataka Origin Candidates (ST & SC), the fees is Rs 250/-. Candidates who reside outside of Karnataka and wish to appear for the entrance exam will have to pay Rs 750/- as the application fees. While candidates from outside of India will be required to pay an application fees of Rs 5000/-.

The procedure to fill out the KCET application form 2024 has been explained below:

• Visit the official website of KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority)
• Click on the “UGCET -2024 Online Application Link”
• Next, click on the “New User” link and register yourself 
• Enter the required details like your name, address, educational qualifications etc. in the online registration form 
• Click on the “Submit” tab
• After successful registration, the candidate will receive an application number and user ID at their registered mobile number
• Candidate’s application number and user ID will also be displayed on their screen
• Next, log into the KEA website using your user ID and password and fill up the required details in the KCET application form 2024
• Candidates must fill the details in the KCET application form “tab-wise”, that is, one after the other
• These details will include general information, reservation details, RD details, educational details, declaration by the candidate and application fee payment
• In the RD details menu, candidates are required to upload the scanned images of their latest photograph, signature & left-hand thumb impression in the given fields
• After filling in the details, carefully review the KCET application form 
• If any edits are required, log into the candidate portal and make the changes

After filling out the KCET application form, candidates can edit the application form within the stipulated time. The schedule for KCET application form correction will be published on the official website of KEA. 

Candidates will be required to make changes in their KCET application form via online mode only. 

The steps to make corrections in their KCET 2024 application form are as follows:

• Go to the official website of KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority)
• Click on the link for “ UG CET 2024 Online Application Edit” or a similar phrase
• Log into the website using your user ID and other required credentials
• Make changes in the required fields and click on the “Declare” button
• Save and submit the changes made in the application form by clicking on the “Submit” button 
• Lastly, take a printout of your edited KCET application form 2024

KCET Eligibility Criteria 2024

Before filling out the KCET application form, candidates must ensure that they fulfill the KCET 2024 eligibility criteria. The KCET eligibility criteria talks about the required educational qualifications, age limit, nationality, and nativity criteria that will make a candidate eligible for appearing for the KCET entrance exam.

It is mandatory for all candidates to carry their KCET 2024 admit card to the examination centre on all exam days. No candidate will be allowed to appear for the KCET entrance exam without their admit card.
