Candidates must be minimum 17 years of age (as of December 31, 2025) to apply for the examination. How to Fill WBJEE Application Form 2026?
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) releases the process of filling the application form in its official notification. The process includes registration, filling up personal and educational details, payment of application fees, and submission of application forms. Registration
- The applicant will input personal information including name, father's and mother's names, date of birth, gender, type and number of identification, current and permanent addresses, phone number, email address, etc.
- Applicants must be cautious while providing their name, father's and mother's names, birthdate, gender, and place of residence. These details cannot, under any circumstances, be amended, updated, or altered.
- The candidate must next select a security question and answer, establish a passcode, verify, and complete the registration.
- A generated application number will show up on the screen. Moreover, the candidate's registered mobile number and email address will get SMS and email
- The applicant needs to keep in mind his or her application number, password, and security question and answer. If an applicant misses their password, they must use the "Forget Password" option to retrieve it. The password cannot be recovered in any other manner.
- It is not feasible for any person/agency to alter any information without knowing the login password. Thus, applicants must not divulge their password to anyone. The Board disclaims all liability for any modifications brought about by the sharing or disclosure of the password.
Filling Application Form
- The candidate must now complete out further form with information including their address, category, PWD status, family income level, religion, country, and academic background.
- The applicant must provide the JEE (Main)-2026 application number if they also applied for it.
- The individual must next submit the application and select the examination zones in the order of their preference.
Uploading Images
- The candidate must provide a current colour photograph (10 to 200 KB in size) and a JPG or JPEG image of his or her signature (4 to 30 KB).
- Any document that is submitted must be in PDF format, such as a certificate or mark sheet (50 to 300 KB)
- Candidate's photo and signature must be uploaded all at once.
Payment of Application Fees
- Only UPI, debit cards, credit cards, and net banking may be used to pay the exam fees.
- The examination's application fee is Rs 500 (Rupees five hundred only) for general applicants and Rs 400 (Rupees four hundred only) for candidates who fall under the OBC-A or OBC-B categories, plus any applicable bank service fees.
- Candidates who qualify for the concession must upload their appropriate credentials in the specified formats during the counselling process, or else their application will be rejected.

Note - There is no refund after the fee has been paid.
Confirmation Page
The candidate will be instructed to download the "Confirmation Page" after successfully completing all of the aforementioned procedures, signifying that the application is concluded. UNTIL THE CONFIRMATION PAGE HAS GENERATED, THE APPLICATION IS NOT COMPLETE.
