AP ECET Registration 2026: The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) is yet to commence the AP ECET application process on its official website. Candidates who wish to appear for the AP ECET exam can apply at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. The AP ECET registration link will be activated along with the publication of notification PDF. The application process involves payment of the application fee, verification of payment status, filling out the application form with accurate details, and uploading the required documents. 

The AP ECET exam is likely to be conducted in May, 2026. The Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET) is conducted for diploma holders and B.Sc. graduates seeking lateral entry into the second year of B.E./B.Tech. and B. Pharmacy programs in Andhra Pradesh. AP ECET 2026 exam is conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) on behalf of the APSCHE.

The application form fee for the exam varies as per the category. For general category, candidates need to pay a sum of INR 600, while the BC category candidates will have to pay INR 550 as the application fee. It must be noted that the fee can be paid online only through credit/debit card or net banking. Candidates are also advised to check the AP ECET eligibility criteria before applying for the exam, as it will help in better understanding.

The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University will be releasing a detailed notification regarding the AP ECET 2026 on its website. Candidates willing to apply for the exam must check the eligibility criteria from the AP ECET Notification 2026. The AP ECET registration process requires the entering of personal academic and contact details. The application fee is INR 600 for the open category. The documents required for the application submission are qualifying examination hall ticket number, SSC (10th Class) or equivalent certificate, Diploma/B.Sc. certificates, caste certificate (if applicable), aadhaar card, ration card (if applicable), scanned passport-sized photograph, signature, valid email ID and mobile number. Only registered aspirants will be able to download their AP ECET Admit Card 2026, which will be published on their registered account.

AP ECET Registration 2026: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates willing to apply for lateral entry to the second year of B.E./B.Tech. and B.Pharmacy programs in Andhra Pradesh must satisfy the following eligibility criteria. The AP ECET eligibility criteria is based on the educational qualification of the candidates and their domicile. 

• Candidates must have a Diploma in Engineering and Technology/ Pharmacy from the State Board of Technical Education of Andhra Pradesh State or any other Diploma from an AICTE-approved institution recognised by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
• Alternatively, they must have passed the 3-year B.sc Degree examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
• Students pursuing a diploma (final year) are also eligible to appear for the AP ECET 2026.
• Candidates must have scored a minimum of 45% marks for the open category and 40% for the reserved category in the qualifying examination. 
• Candidates appearing for the AP ECET 2026 must belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh. They should satisfy themselves with the local/non-local status as per the requirement laid down by the Andhra Pradesh Educational and Technological Institutions order, 1947 as subsequently amended.
• Admission to 85% of the seats in each course shall be reserved for the local candidates and the remaining 15% of the seats shall be un-reserved seats as specified in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions

How to Register for AP ECET 2026?

Candidates applying for the AP ECET 2026 must visit the official website of the APSCHE. The registration process involves first the application fee payment and then the filling of the rest of the application form. Candidates can check the application process from the steps given below.

• Fee Payment:
  • Visit the official AP ECET website: cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/ECET
  • Click on the "Eligibility Criteria & Fee Payment" tab.
  • Enter required details such as Diploma/B.Sc. Hall Ticket Number, Candidate’s Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Email ID, and Category.
  • Pay the application fee online using Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking.
• Check Payment Status:
  • After payment, verify the status by clicking on the "Know Your Payment Status" tab on the official website.
  • Enter your hall ticket number, mobile number, and date of birth to check the payment status.
• Fill Application Form:
  • Once payment is confirmed, proceed to fill out the application form by selecting the "Fill Application" option.
  • Fill the application form by providing personal details, address, and qualifying examination details, and select your preferred test centers.
  • Upload scanned images of your passport-sized photograph and signature in the sizes specified in the official notification.
• Print Application Form:
  • After submitting the application, click on the "Print Application Form" link to obtain a hard copy for your records.

Candidates applying for the AP ECET 2026 must pay an application fee. As per the previous year, the application fee for the Open Category was INR 600, Backward category INR 550 and SC/ST category INR 500.

Applicants must note the following points while filling out the application form.

• Candidates must check personal details carefully while filling out the application form such as: Candidate’s name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Hall ticket number of the qualifying degree, Alternative mobile number, and E-mail ID. 
• They must avoid spelling errors in names and other details. 
• Mobile numbers and e-mail IDs should be correct for future communications.
• Basic information such as date of birth, gender, category etc. must be checked before submission. 
• The Aadhar Card number of the candidate is mandatory.
• The photograph and signature should be of the prescribed size. Candidates must upload their latest passport-size photograph.
