CUET PG Exam 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the CUET PG Result 2026 on April 24, 2026. Students can now download their CUET 2026 results on the official website - exams.nta.nic.in. Aspirants can use their application number and password on the result login window. 

The CUET PG 2026 answer key was released on April 11, 2026, on its official website. The CUET PG 2026 Objection window was closed on April 14, 2026. NTA released the admit cards for exams from March 11 to 13, as announced in a public notice on March 7, 2026. NTA has released the admit cards for the CUET PG 2026 on March 3, 2026, for Postgraduate entrance exams from March 6 to 10, 2026.

The result is vital for candidates seeking admission to postgraduate courses offered by central universities and other participating colleges under CUET PG. Successful candidates in the CUET PG exam 2026 will be eligible to apply for courses such as MA, M.Sc, LLM, M.Voc, MBA, MCA, MPH, M.P.Ed, M.Tech, and more.

Please note that the role of NTA is confined to the registration of candidates, the conduct of the test, hosting answer keys, inviting challenges, finalising answer keys, preparing and declaring results, and hosting scorecards. A merit list will be prepared by participating universities or organisations. Universities may conduct their individual counselling based on the CUET PG scorecard 2026 provided by NTA.

What is the CUET PG Exam 2026?

The CUET PG is a national-level test conducted for admission into PG programmes in Central, State, and Participating Universities/Institutions for the academic session 2026-27. The CUET PG 2026 selection process includes the online written examination along with the counselling round.

The CUET PG counselling is conducted by participating institutes for candidates who pass the online written examination. A total of 142 universities participated in the CUET PG exam last year. The notification for the CUET PG exam is released by the National Testing Agency at exams.nta.nic.in. CUET PG Eligibility Criteria 2026

The CUET PG Eligibility Criteria is released by NTA on the official website. The basic eligibility to apply for CUET PG is a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline. Candidates must have graduated from a recognised institute or university. They should have a minimum percentage of marks as required by the institute. It must be noted that for final admission, the candidate must fulfil the eligibility criteria required by the respective CUET PG participating colleges.

The National Testing Agency releases the CUET PG application process on its official website. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria can fill out the application form on the official website of NTA. The CUET PG registration process is online. Candidates have to fill out the CUET PG application form with the correct personal and educational details to successfully register for the exam. The CUET PG registration 2026 is now closed. The registration process for the Common University Entrance Test - Postgraduate 2026 started on December 14, 2025. Earlier, the last date for application submission was January 14, 2026, which was later extended to January 25, 2026. 

CUET PG Exam Pattern 2026

• Candidates may select a maximum of four question paper codes.
• There will be no General Test accompanying each paper.
• Candidates can opt for the General paper as a subject, with the comprehension part being in either English or Hindi, as selected during registration.
• The exam duration is 105 minutes.
• The question paper will consist of 75 questions.
• Four marks will be awarded for each correct answer, and one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
• Language papers will be in the respective languages, except for Linguistics, which will be in English.
• M.Tech/Higher Sciences papers will be in English only.
• Acharya Papers will be in Sanskrit, except for Hindu Studies, Indian Knowledge System, and Baudha Darshan.
• Humanities, Sciences, and Common papers will be bilingual, available in both English and Hindi.
• The examination will be conducted in three shifts.
• The English version of the questions in the question papers, excluding languages and Acharya papers, will be considered final.

CUET PG Marking Scheme 2026

• Each question carries 4 marks.
• A correct response earns the candidate 4 marks.
• For each incorrect response, 1 mark will be deducted from the total score.
• Unanswered or unattempted responses will receive no marks.
• To answer a question, the candidate must select one option as the correct choice.
• Following the challenge process of the Answer Key, if there are multiple correct options or a change in the key, only candidates who answered correctly according to the revised Final Answer Key will be awarded marks.
• If a question is dropped due to a technical error, full marks will be given to all candidates, regardless of whether they attempted it or not.

CUET PG Cut Off 2026

CUET PG Cut off is released separately by each participating college. Candidates must clear the cut-off for the college they want to take admission in. As per the year 2025, the CUET PG DU Cut off for PG courses remains around 250-280 marks, depending upon the course and the category of the candidate. The MA, M.Sc, and M.Com programs at the top colleges of Delhi University (DU) are anticipated to have a competitive cutoff range of 250-280 marks out of a total of 400 marks. These colleges typically announce the minimum cutoff scores based on specific courses and categories.

CUET PG Counselling 2026

Eligibility for the CUET PG counselling 2025 is limited to applicants who successfully passed the online written exam. The CUET PG exam results will be publicly announced on the official NTA website after the exams. To participate in the counselling process, candidates must possess the required documents and submit them for verification. The document verification procedure will be conducted independently by the respective CUET PG Participating Institutes.
