AP ECET 2024: Registration Date, Eligibility, Pattern, Syllabus, Result, Cut off

AP ECET 2024: The applications for the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET 2024) will be out anytime soon and be made available on the official website - cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/ECET. The examination is scheduled for May 8, 2024 by the officials. The examination will be computer based i.e the mode of the AP ECET will be online.

While filling out the AP ECET application, candidates will have to pay a required fee of INR 600 for OC candidates, and INR 500 for BC students. Candidates are advised to download and print out the admit card after registering online for the examination and identity purpose. 

The students will have to carry the AP ECET 2024 admit card with them as identity proof to the examination centre on the day of the examination (May 8, 2024). 

AP ECET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test) exam is a state-level common entrance test conducted for Diploma/ B.sc candidates for lateral admissions (In second year degree programme) in engineering courses. 

The AP ECET is conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Anantapur on behalf of APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education).

AP ECET eligiblity criteria is divided into two categories: 

AP ECET 2024 Eligibility Criteria 2024 - Educational Qualification

• Students must have passed the 3 year B.sc Degree examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
• Students pursuing a diploma ( final year) are also eligible to appear for the AP ECET 2024.
• Candidates must have passed Diploma in engineering/ pharmacy/Bsc with the aggregate of minimum 45% marks and 40 % for the reserved category. 

AP ECET Eligibility Criteria 2024 - Domicile

Candidates appearing for the AP ECET 2024 must belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh. They should satisfy themselves with the local/non-local status as per the requirement laid down by the Andhra Pradesh educational and technological Institutions order, 1947 as subsequently amended.  

Candidates should have obtained a Diploma in Engineering/ Pharmacy from the Technical education of Andhra Pradesh or any other AICTE diploma approved by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. 

AP ECET Registration 2024

Students can register for the AP ECET 2024 on the official website - cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/ECET. While filling out the application form candidates are asked for the personal academic and contact details. Candidates are advised to download  and print out the admit card after registering online for the examination and identity purpose. 

The students will have to carry AP ECET 2024 admit card with them as an identity proof to the examination centre on the day of examination (May 8, 2024).

AP ECET Admit card 2024

The admit cards for the AP ECET 2024 will be released after the registrations i.e  expected to be after March 2024. Candidates who have successfully registered for the AP CET 2024 on the official website - cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/ECET will be able to download the AP ECET admit card from the official website. However, the tentative date is 1 week before the commencement of the test that is by the last week of April 2024. The AP ECET 2024 test will be conducted on May 8, 2024.

AP ECET Exam Pattern 2024

AP ECET will be conducted for the Diploma/ B.sc candidates for lateral admissions (In second year degree programme) in engineering courses.

AP ECET Result 2024

The results for AP ECET will be announced after the examination that is after May 8, 2024. The results are expected to be released tentatively in June 2024. The candidates appearing for the AP ECET 2024 will be able to check their AP ECET results online on the official website - cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/ECET by login their credentials.

However, students can use the following steps to check their AP ECET 2024 results: 

1. Visit the official website - cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/ECET
2. Students are then directed to click on the Result Link;
3. Followed by which, candidates will have to select their subject and fill in the login details;
4. AP ECET Result 2024 will open in the form of a rank list;
5. Candidates are required to save the rank list;
6. Post downloading, candidates can enter the IPU CET 2024 Rank List.

Based on these results, AP ECET counselling 2024 will be done for allotment of seats under various disciplines of UG courses.

AP ECET Qualifying Marks 2024

The candidates appearing for the AP ECET 2024 must score a minimum of 50 marks out of 200 marks that is the total of 25% to clear the AP ECET and to be eligible to obtain a rank in the exam, therefore, to appear for counselling. 

AP ECET Counselling 2024

Candidates who have scored more than 25% of the total marks i.e 50 marks out of 200 marks in AP ECET 2024, will be eligible to obtain a rank and sit for counselling. The counselling registration process for AP ECET 2024 concluded on July 17, 2024.
