COMEDK UGET Eligibility Criteria: The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka is a body responsible for deciding the COMEDK UGET eligibility criteria. The COMEDK exam 2025 is conducted for admission to Medical, Engineering, and Dental courses at the undergraduate level. Students who wish to appear for the COMEDK UGET exam must have passed the 2nd PUC (Pre-University Certificate) or 10+2 examination (HSC) or equivalent examination.
To appear for the COMEDK UGET exam, students must have educational qualification with a minimum percentage of marks as required by the conducting body. Through the COMEDK UGET exam, students are eligible to take admission to MBBS (Medical), BDS (Dental), and B.Arch programs. For B.Arch admission, students must have a valid NATA score. Students with NATA scores can apply for COMEDK Counselling 2025.
COMEDK UGET Eligibility Criteria 2025
Candidates wishing to take admission to engineering courses at the undergraduate level must fulfil the eligibility criteria. Students who fail to meet the eligibility requirements will be disqualified from the exam selection process. Interested candidates can check the detailed eligibility criteria below:
COMEDK UGET Eligibility: Engineering Courses
- Candidates must have completed the 2nd PUC/10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board or institution by the state/central government.
- Students must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject in their last two years of study.
- Candidates from the general category must have minimum 45% marks in their 10+2. In case the candidate belongs to SC/ST/OBC category of Karnataka State, he/she must have 40% minimum marks in each subject.
- Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Bio Technology or Biology or Computer Science or Electronics as one of optional subjects. However, changes, if any, in the eligibility criteria by the AICTE/VTU will be adopted.
- Diploma candidates are not eligible for the COMEDK UGET exam 2025 as there is no provision for lateral entry admission.
COMEDK UGET Eligibility: Architecture
Interested students can check the eligibility criteria for the B.Arch program below:
- Candidates must have passed the 2nd PUC or 10+2 or equivalent examination. The exam must be passed from a recognised board or institution.
- Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Students from the reserved category (SC, ST, and OBC of Karnataka State) are required to achieve at least 45% marks. Students must have passed these subjects individually as well.
- Candidates who have passed a 10+3 diploma with mathematics as the compulsory subject can also appear for the COMEDK UGET examination. Students must have 50% minimum aggregate marks (45% for SC, ST, & OBC of Karnataka).
- All candidates (including SC, ST & OBC) must have a valid NATA score for admission to the B.Arch program. Qualification in NATA is subject to the candidate getting at least cut-off marks in two individual components and also getting at least the qualifying marks in aggregate.
- Only NATA scores are considered for admission to the B.Arch program through the COMEDK UGET examination.
Note:
- COMEDK has specified eligibility criteria, but if AICTE, VTU, COA, or other relevant authorities make any changes before they begin ranking students for admission, COMEDK will adopt those changes as they are. After generating the ranks, no changes will be made to the already prescribed eligibility criteria.
- Rank Card will be generated only for those candidates who become eligible for admission to Under Graduate Courses as per the regulations of AICTE / VTU.
