The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced, whose results were released on Sunday, saw an increase in cut-offs across all categories this year. Of the seven zones, the IIT Hyderabad zone had the greatest percentage of qualifying applicants, both overall and among the top 500. The common rank list (CRL) qualifying cut-off was 23.89%, a significant increase over the CRL qualifying cut-off of 15.28% from the previous year. For OBC, the 2023 JEE Advanced Cutoff is 21.50% aggregate and 6.15% in each subject.
JEE Advanced Cutoff 2023: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati will release the JEE Advanced 2023 Cutoff on the official website. The cutoff for JEE Advanced 2023 will be of two types: Qualifying & Admission. The JEE Advanced qualifying cutoff is the minimum percentiles that candidates have to secure to qualify the JEE Advanced exam. On the other hand, the JEE Advanced admission cutoff is the opening and closing rank required by candidates for final admission. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) releases the JEE opening and closing rank after the declaration of the result.
The JEE Advanced result will be released on June 18, 2023. Candidates who will qualify the exam will be called for the JEE Advanced counselling. Aspirants are required to fill in their choice preference and lock it during the counselling session. However, the final admission will depend on the rank list released by JoSAA.
The JEE Advanced Rank List will include candidates who have secured the minimum marks required to qualify the exam along with positions in the opening and closing ranks. The minimum cutoff to qualify the JEE Advanced exam in 2022 was 55. Aspirants can also check JEE Advanced previous year cutoff to get an idea of the category-wise expected cutoff.

Minimum marks in JEE Advanced to get IIT for General
Candidates must score a minimum of 180-220 marks out of 360 to get a seat in the top Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) if they are from the general category. To secure an admission to B.E/B. Tech program in Computer Science branch, candidates must try to score the highest possible marks in JEE Advanced 2023 exam. The JEE advanced 2023 result will be released on June 18, 2023.
In terms of percentiles, the 90th percentile is expected to be the minimum JEE Advanced cutoff 2023 for general category students to secure admission to IIT.

JEE Advanced 2023 Counselling
The JEE Advanced counselling is conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) after the release of the result. After the conclusion of the counselling round, JoSAA also releases the seat allocation result. The seat allocation result is released on the basis of the final merit list. Candidates whose names appear in the seat allocation results are required to report online, submit the required fees, and get their documents verified by the deadline.
