VITEEE 2026: Counselling Ongoing, Phase 3 Choice Filling, Seat Allotment

VITEEE Exam 2026: VIT University is conducting VITEEE Counselling 2026 in online mode. The VIT Phase 3 choice-filling process was started by the exam authority on May 28. The deadline for the counselling is May 29 (5:00 pm). The VITEEE 2026 Phase III seat allotment result will be declared on May 31, 2026. VIT phase 2 seat allotment result is now available. Candidates who have qualified for the VITEEE exam 2026 can participate in counselling.

The VIT University released the VITEEE 2026 exam results on May 8, 2026, on its official website, viteee.vit.ac.in. Candidates can check their results at the login portal using their application number and password.  Earlier, VIT released the VITEEE 2026 exam admit card on April 26, 2026. The VITEEE 2026 exam was successfully conducted from April 28 to May 3, 2026.

Students must know the VITEEE syllabus and pattern before appearing for the exam. VITEEE exam pattern 2026 is divided into two types/streams - MPCEA and BPCEA. VITEEE exam for MPCEA includes Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English and Aptitude, while BPCEA has Biology instead of Maths. The VITEEE Exam will be a computer-based test (CBT) consisting of 125 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The test will have no negative marking, and the duration will be 2 hours and 30 minutes. The subjects tested are based on Class 11-12 NCERT standards.

What is the VITEEE Exam 2026?

VITEEE exam is conducted for B.Tech admissions to the Vellore Institute of Technology and its other campuses. The exam comprises multiple-choice questions with one mark awarded for correct answer and zero for incorrect ones. The exam consists of 125 questions in total, divided into the following sections: Maths/Biology (40 questions), Physics (35 questions), Chemistry (35 questions), Aptitude (10 questions), and English (5 questions). The entire question paper will be in English only.

VITEEE Counselling 2026

Only candidates who meet the VITEEE 2026 cutoff will be eligible to participate in the VITEEE Counselling 2026. To gain admission to VIT through VITEEE, it is compulsory to register for the counselling process on the official VIT website. Only those who register can take part in the counselling rounds, where branch allotment is determined by rank, preferences, and seat availability.

VITEEE Result 2026

The VITEEE result 2026 has been released on the official VITEEE website on May 8, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results using their login credentials. The steps to check the VITEEE Result 2026 are as follows:

VITEEE Notification 2026

The Vellore Institute of Technology released the VITEEE notification on October 24, 2025. Together with the release of the notification, the VITEEE application form was also released and made available online. The notification comprises the VITEEE exam date, syllabus, pattern, marking scheme, steps to register, application fee, admit card details, exam day instructions and other key details.

VITEEE Registration 2026

The VITEEE application process 2026 is ongoing. Candidates who wish to take the VITEEE exam 2026 can fill out the application form till April 12, 2026. VIT started the registration process on October 24, 2025. 

Only the candidates who fulfil the VITEEE eligibility criteria can apply for the entrance examination. To be eligible for the VITEEE exam, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology (50% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).

The application fee for the General category candidates is INR 1,350, which has to be paid online (net banking, credit/debit card, Paytm). Whereas the NRI students are required to pay 90 USD online (credit card).

VITEEE Admit Card 2026

The VITEEE admit card was released on April 26, 2026, by the examination conducting body. It is available on the VITEEE official website (viteee.vit.ac.in). Candidates will be able to download their admit card using their registered application number and password. The VITEEE 2026 Admit Card contains important information like the exam date, timing, venue, exam day instructions, and candidate details. Candidates must carry the admit card along with a valid photo ID proof to the exam centre.
