VITEEE 2024: Result, Counselling, Cut off, Exam Pattern, Syllabus

VITEEE 2024: The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has released the VITEEE result 2024 on its official website, viteee.vit.ac.in. The counselling schedule will be released soon by the university. It is expected that the VITEEE Counselling will start from the third or fourth week of May 2024. However, there is no official confirmation as of now.

The Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes in the VIT group of Institutions. The entrance exam will be conducted at various exam centres across India and abroad. 

The duration of the VITEEE exam will be 2 hours and 30 minutes. The exam will be conducted in the All questions will be multiple choice, with one mark awarded for correct answers and zero for incorrect ones. The exam will consist of 125 questions total, divided into the following sections: Maths/Biology (40 questions), Physics (35 questions), Chemistry (35 questions), Aptitude (10 questions), and English (5 questions). The entire question paper will be in English only.

VITEEE Registration 2024

Candidates who wish to appear for the VITEEE entrance exam can apply for it through the official VITEEE website. The detailed registration process is available on the VITEEE 2024 Application Form page. 

Only the candidates who satisfy the VITEEE eligibility criteria can apply for the entrance examination.  To be eligible for VITEEE exam, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology (50% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).

The application fee for the General category candidates is INR 1350 which has to be paid online (net banking, credit/debit card, Paytm). Whereas the NRI students are required to pay 90 USD online (credit card).

VITEEE 2024 Admit Card

Once the VITEEE admit card is released, it will be available for download on the official VITEEE website (viteee.vit.ac.in). Candidates can download their admit card using their registered application number and password. The admit card contains important information like the exam date, timing, venue, exam day instructions, and candidate details. Candidates must carry the admit card along with a valid photo ID proof to the exam centre.

VITEEE 2024 Result

The VITEEE result is released on the official VITEEE website. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can check their results using their login details.

• Enter your login credentials like your VITEEE application number and password.

VITEEE Cutoff 2024

The VITEEE cutoff is the minimum rank candidates need to secure to qualify for admission to their desired course and campus at the VIT group of institutions. It must be noted that the VITEEE cutoff varies based on the programme, campus, and candidate’s category.

VITEEE Counselling 2024

Only candidates who clear the VITEEE cutoff will be allowed to participate in the VITEEE Counselling 2024. To secure admission at VIT through VITEEE, registration for the counselling process is mandatory via the official VIT website. Participation in counselling rounds, where branch allocation is based on rank, preferences, and seat availability, is limited to registered candidates.
