AP ECET Syllabus 2026 - APSCHE releases the AP ECET Syllabus PDF on its official website at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/ECET. The conducting body will release the notification including syllabus and exam pattern likely in March 2026.AP ECET syllabus for all the Diploma and B.Sc. degree holders is available on the official website of the APSCHE. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are the common subjects for the engineering diploma holders. Along with the common subjects, candidates must also check the syllabus for their specialisations. AP ECET 2026 exam is likely to be conducted in May 2026.
The Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET) is conducted for the candidates willing to take a lateral entry to the second year of the B.E./ B.Tech. and B.Pharmacy programmes in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) conducts the AP ECET on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). AP ECET 2026 registration will begin in March 2026 tentatively.
AP ECET Syllabus 2026
The AP ECET syllabus for the examination year 2026 is yet to be released. However, the previous year syllabus is available on the official website of the APSCHE. The syllabus encompasses common subjects—Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry—as well as specialised topics corresponding to the candidate's engineering or pharmacy discipline.
Apart from the common subjects of Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics, the engineering diploma holders have to choose from the specialisations, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics & Communications, Computer Science, Chemical, Metallurgical, Mining, Electronics & Instrumentation, Ceramic Technology, Biotechnology and Agricultural Engineering. On the other hand, for the pharmacy diploma holders, there are four compulsory sections, Section I: Pharmaceutics; Section II: Pharmaceutical Chemistry; Section III: Pharmacognosy and Section IV: Pharmacology. The BSc degree holders have to cover the syllabus of Mathematics, Analytical Ability and Communicative English.
AP ECET Pattern 2026
AP ECET is a computer-based test of 200 marks and a duration of 3 hours. Aspirants of the exam must check the question structure, marking scheme and section of the exam. All the questions are of Multiple Choice type or MCQs carrying one mark each. There is no negative marking. The detailed pattern of the examination for engineering, pharmacy diploma and BSc degree holders are as given below.
