AP TET Exam 2026: The Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, has released the APTET notification 2026 on June 5, 2026, on its official website. As the official notification is released, candidates can start registering for the APTET exam 2026 from the official website - tet2dsc.apcfss.in, till July 5, 2026. The notification released by the DSE will contain important details like eligibility criteria, exam dates, complete application process, syllabus, AP TET exam pattern, and result criteria. 

Following the registration, the APTET Hall Ticket 2026 will be issued on July 25, 2026. As confirmed by the exam authority, the APTET Exam 2026 will be held from August 5 to 21, 2026, in two different shifts. The APTET Initial key 2026 will be displayed on the official platform from August 24, onwards.

The exam is for those candidates who wish to pursue their career in the teaching line. The AP TET exam 2026 is divided into two papers - Paper I and Paper II. Moreover, both papers are divided into two parts, A and B, respectively. The AP TET registration process will begin with the release of the official notification. 

To prepare for the exam, candidates must check the AP TET Exam Pattern 2026 for both papers. Candidates who are interested in teaching students of classes 1 to 5 appear for the paper I, whereas candidates who are interested in teaching students of classes 6 to 8 appear for AP TET paper II. Candidates who are interested in teaching students from classes 1 to 8 can appear for both papers. Candidates who will qualify for the AP TET exam 2026 will be eligible to apply for the position of teacher in  Andhra Pradesh (Government/ ZP/ MP/ Municipal/ Recognised Private Aided & Private Unaided etc.) schools.

AP TET Exam 2026

AP TET or better known as Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test is a state-level test conducted for those candidates who wish to appear to pursue teaching as their career. The exam conducting body is the Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, and the exam takes place in two shifts. AP TET exam is conducted once a year. The AP TET exam consists of two papers: Paper 1 is for candidates who wish to become teachers for classes 1 to 5, and Paper 2 is for candidates who wish to become teachers for classes 6 to 8. The official notification for AP TET has been released on June 5, 2026, on the official website. The notification contains all the important information regarding the details of the exam, including the release date of application form, exam fees, exam centres, dates, and more. AP TET Application Process 2026

In the first step, candidates need to fill out the AP TET application form online. To fill out the form, candidates need to go to the official website and download the form from there. Before submitting their application, candidates are advised to carefully read the information bulletin for the AP TET exam.

How to apply online for AP TET 2026?

Step 1: Candidates need to visit the official website of the education board 

Step 2: On the homepage, students will find the link that reads 'AP TET 2026 application form' -- click on that 

Step 3: Now, click on the link 

Step 4: Students have to fill in the application form and upload a recent photograph and signature 

Step 5: Now click on submit, and a new page will open where candidates have to submit the fees 

Step 6: Click on submit 

Step 7: After clicking on submit, a reference ID will be generated and candidates have to save the reference ID for future use

AP TET Eligibility 2026 

Candidates who are preparing for the AP TET exam should be well aware of the APTET eligibility criteria 2026. AP TET Exam Pattern 2026

The AP TET Paper 2 (part B) is for those candidates who wish to become teachers for classes 6 to 8 specifically for special schools. The maximum number of weightage in part B belongs to the Category of Disability Specialization and Pedagogy section.

AP TET Syllabus 2026

AP TET Syllabus 2026 is prescribed by the Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh. Candidates should note that the AP TET Syllabus 2026 differs for Paper 1 A-B and Paper 2 A-B. While the AP TET Paper 1 syllabus includes topics from five sections, the Paper 2 syllabus comprises topics from four sections. Further, there are three subjects in both the exams that are the same. 

Candidates learn the total number of sections, essential subjects, the division of questions by section, and the scoring system after perusing the thorough AP TET 2026 syllabus. 

As stated above, the syllabus for AP TET varies for both papers I and paper II. Paper I of the exam is almost similar to Parts A and B. 

AP TET Results and Cut off 2026

AP TET result 2026 will be announced on September 15, 2026.  The AP TET 2026 result will be prepared through the normalisation formula and is released on the official website. The factors that will determine the AP TET results are the final answer key and the normalisation formula. Apart from the results, the exam conducting body also releases the AP TET Cut-off 2026. AP TET Hall Ticket 2026

AP TET Hall Ticket 2026 is an essential document for all the candidates who are appearing for the teacher eligibility test. Candidates can download their AP TET hall tickets from the official website. Candidates should know that hall ticket is an essential document, and every candidate must have the document while appearing for the exam. 

If a candidate does not bring his or her hall ticket, then he or she will not be able to appear for the exam. The AP TET 2026 Hall Ticket is scheduled to be issued on December 3. 

How to download the AP TET Hall Ticket 2026?

Step 1: Go to the official website -- tet2dsc.apcfss.in

Step 2: On the homepage, candidates will find the link that reads 'candidate login link' -- click on that 

Step 3: Now, the candidate needs to enter their details as asked, such as ID or mobile number and date of birth 

Step 4: A new page will open, which will have the candidate's admit card 

NOTE: Download the AP TET hall ticket PDF and take a printout of the document for future use. 

Once the candidate has downloaded the admit card, they should check every detail thoroughly, such as the candidate’s name, photograph, signature, etc.
