UPTET Exam 2026: Result, Final Answer Key, Pass Percentage

UPTET Exam 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) is expected to release the UPTET 2026 Result this week on its official website. However, the examination authority has not yet confirmed the release date of the result announcement. Once the UPTET 2026 Result is released, candidates who appeared for the exam will be able to check and download their result by entering the login credentials in the result login window once activated on the official portal - upessc.up.gov.in. 

The UPTET Exam 2026 was conducted from July 2 to July 4, 2026, across the state of Uttar Pradesh to recruit eligible candidates for various teaching posts in government and government-funded schools across the state. The UPTET Admit Card 2026 was released for all the candidates on June 30, 2026, while the UPTET City Intimation Slip 2026 was earlier issued online on June 22, 2026. The commission had started the registration portal for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026 from March 27, 2026, to April 26, 2026. The official UPTET 2026 notification was released on March 20, 2026, in online mode. The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) released the UPTET syllabus and exam pattern along with the official notification.

The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) is conducted in two levels. Candidates qualifying for the UPTET Level 1 will be eligible for teaching in Classes 1 to 5. Meanwhile, candidates who qualify for the UPTET Level 2 will be recruited for the position of teachers in Classes 6 to 8. Candidates who wish to teach classes 6 to 8 must appear for both papers.

UPTET Answer Key 2026

The commission released the UPTET Answer Key 2026 on July 8, 2026, on its official website. Candidates who appeared for the UPTET Exam 2026 could download the answer key for their set by visiting the official portal - upessc.up.gov.in. The UPTET Answer Key 2026 was accessible for all candidates upon login. Therefore, candidates must sign in at the above-mentioned portal by entering their login credentials, i.e., Roll Number and Date of birth (DOB). Candidates should note that the UPTET Answer Key 2026 has been released on a provisional basis, and the final answer key will be released along with the UPTET Result 2026 soon. Along with the release of the answer key, the commission also activated the objection window for candidates to challenge the answer key. The objection window was active from 06:00 PM on July 8, 2026, to July 14, 2026, up to 11:59 PM. UPTET Result 2026

The UPTET Result 2026 is likely to be released by this week by the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) at the official website. In order to check the results, candidates will be required to log in using their registration number and the one-time password received. Candidates will be considered qualified for the exam if they achieve the minimum marks set by the educational body. The UPTET Result 2026 for Paper 1 and Paper 2 is released separately by the conducting body.

Since the UPTET result is an essential document, it consists of several important pieces of information about the candidate, including the candidate's name, DOB, candidate's category, date of result declaration, and others. However, candidates must note that before the release of results, the education body will release the answer key. 

UPTET Admit Card 2026

The UPTET Admit Card 2026 was released by the UPESSC on June 30, 2026, on the official website. Candidates could download the UPTET Hall Ticket 2026 by logging in with their credentials. Only those applicants who have successfully registered for the UPTET exam 2026 will be eligible to access their admit card. To obtain the hall ticket, candidates must enter their registration number and password.

The UPTET Admit Card 2026 is a crucial document that will include important details about the candidate, such as name, roll number, exam date, category, and more. UPTET Syllabus 2026

The UPTET Syllabus 2026 was prescribed by the Uttar Pradesh Exam Regulatory Authority (ERA) on the official website. Candidates must note that the UPTET exam 2026 has been further divided into two papers - Paper 1 and Paper 2. Hence, the syllabi for both Papers 1 and 2 are different. 

The UPTET Paper 1 consists of 5 sections. It includes sections such as Child Development and Methodology and Pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies. On the other hand, the UPTET Paper 2 has 4 subjects, including Child Development and Methodology and Pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2, Maths/Science/Social Science.

UPTET Cut Off 2026

The UPTET Cutoff 2026 will be released after the completion of the exam and declaration of the result. The UPTET cut-off refers to the minimum qualifying marks set by the authorities that a candidate needs to score to qualify for the exam.  Further, candidates should note that the cut-off will vary for candidates belonging to different categories. The UPTET cut-off 2026 will be released in the form of a PDF. Further, if the candidates are not able to score the qualifying cut-off, they will not be eligible to qualify for the examination.

UPTET Exam 2026 Certificate Validity 

Once the candidate has qualified for the UPTET Exam 2026, he or she will be eligible to get the UPTET qualifying certificate. Earlier, the validity of the certificate was 5 years. However, after the announcement made by the former Minister of Education of India, Ramesh Pokhariyal, the validity of all the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) certificates has been extended to a lifetime. Candidates must know that the UPTET certificate does not guarantee a job to the candidate. However, it only makes them eligible to apply for the position of teacher in government schools in Uttar Pradesh. 

UPTET Application Form 2026

The UPTET Application 2026 was released by the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) online on March 27, 2026. Candidates could easily access the direct link to the application form at the official website - upessc.up.gov.in. The UPTET application process could be completed in a series of steps, which are mentioned below - 

• Visit the official website for UPTET - upessc.up.gov.in
• Click on the registration link for UPTET 2026.
• Complete the application form by filling out the required details.
• Pay the requisite fees and submit the application form.
• Take a printout of the submitted application form for future reference.

Candidates could fill out the UPTET Application Form 2026 till April 26, 2026. However, changes were made to the form till May 1, 2026.

UPTET Eligibility Criteria 2026

Before filling out the UPTET registration form 2026, aspirants were advised to mandatorily check the eligibility for the UPTET Exam 2026. Only those candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria specified by the authorities can fill out the application form. • All the candidates applying must have passed Class 12 with at least 50% marks and have passed or be in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, or have passed Class 12 with at least 50% marks and have passed or be in the final year of a 4-year B.El.Ed, or have passed Class 12 with at least 50% marks and be in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Special Education.
• Graduation with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, or Graduation with B.Ed (passed or in the final year) is also accepted.

As for the eligibility criteria for UPTET Paper 2 (Upper Primary Teacher), candidates need to fulfil one of the eligibility criteria mentioned below:

• Graduation with a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education
• Graduation with minimum 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in a one-year BEd
• Graduation with at least 45 per cent marks and a one-year BEd
• Class 12 with minimum 50 per cent marks with a four-year BElEd
• Class 12 with minimum 50 per cent marks with a four-year BA/ BScEd/ BAEd/ BScEd
