UPTET Exam 2026: UPBEB is likely to release the UPTET 2026 notification in October or November in online mode, and it will be available in Hindi. The application form will be released along with the notification, and candidates can register and fill it out on the official website updeled.gov.in. To apply for UPTET 2026, candidates must be at least 18 years old, and there is no upper age limit. The educational requirements for Paper 1 (Primary Teacher) are different.

Candidates must have passed Class 12 with at least 50% marks and be passed or in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, or have passed Class 12 with at least 50% marks and be passed or in the final year of a 4-year B.El.Ed, or have passed Class 12 with at least 50% marks and be passed or in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Special Education. Graduation with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, or Graduation with B.Ed (passed or in the final year) is also accepted.

As for the eligibility criteria for UPTET Paper 2 (Upper Primary Teacher) candidates needs to fulfill one of the eligibility criteria mentioned below: Graduation with a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education, Graduation with minimum 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in one-year BEd, Graduation with at least 45 per cent marks and a one-year BEd, Class 12 with minimum 50 per cent marks with a four-year BElEd, Class 12 with minimum 50 per cent marks with a four-year BA/ BScEd/ BAEd/ BScEd.UPBEB will release the UPTET syllabus and exam pattern along with the official notice. UPTET Application Form 2026

The UPTET application 2026 will be released by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) online. Candidates can easily access the direct link of application form at the official website - updeled.gov.in upon release. The UPTET application process can be completed in a series of steps which are mentioned below -

The UPTET result is released by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) on the official website. In order to check the results, candidates need to log in using their registration number and the received one-time password. Candidates will be considered qualified for the exam if they achieve the minimum marks set by the educational body. The UPTET cutoff 2026 will be released after the completion of the exam and declaration of the result. The UPTET cut-off refers to the minimum qualifying marks set by the authorities that a candidate needs to score to qualify for the exam.

Candidates must know that the UPTET certificate does not guarantee a job to the candidate. However, it only makes them eligible to apply for the position of teacher in government schools in Uttar Pradesh.
