REET Exam 2025: The Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan, conducts the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) annually. REET 2025 notification and exam dates are released on the official website - rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in.

Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has released the official notice for the conduct of the third-grade teacher recruitment exam, also known as the REET Mains exam, for the session 2025. The RSSB has released two separate notices for REET Mains Level 1 (Primary School Teachers) and Level 2 (Upper Primary School Teachers) exams. The REET Mains 2025 exam aims to fill a total of 7,759 vacancies of 3rd-grade teachers in Rajasthan schools. Of these, 5,636 vacancies have been announced for Primary Teachers (Classes 1 to 5) and 2,123 vacancies for Upper Primary teachers (Classes 6 to 8). The Board will soon release the detailed REET Mains notification 2025 for Level 1 and Level 2. The REET Mains application will begin along with the release of the notification.

Latest Updates:

  • The RSSB REET Mains exam or Rajasthan 3rd Grade Teacher Exam is scheduled to be held from January 17 to 21, 2026. 
  • RSSB has released the REET Mains Notification 2025 on July 17, 2025, for the recruitment of Level 1 and Level 2 teachers in Rajasthan government schools. 

Candidates must know that the teacher eligibility exam is conducted at two levels. While level 1 is for those candidates who wish to become a teacher for primary classes (1 to 5 ), level 2 is for candidates who wish to become a teacher for upper primary levels (6 to 8). 

Meanwhile, those candidates who appear for both levels and clear the levels will be eligible to teach students from 1 to 8 classes. The exam dates have not been announced as of now. Candidates will be notified here once the exam dates are released. After the exam, the education body will release the REET answer key for students, and there will be two types of REET answer keys that will be released.

REET 2025 Exam Notification

REET is a teacher eligibility test which is conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (BSER). Candidates who qualify the REET exam can apply for the posts of teachers in government and government funded schools in the state of Rajasthan. Candidates should also know that the REET qualifying certificate does not guarantee a job for all candidates, the certificate only makes the candidate eligible to apply for teaching positions.

REET Application Fees 2025

The application process of the candidate will be completed once the aspirant has paid the application fees. Candidates can check the REET application fees in the table given below: 

Candidates who successfully register for the exam are eligible to receive the REET admit card 2025. The Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (BSER) has, however, not provided an official release date for the admit card. Candidates can download their hall tickets from the REET website whenever they are made available. Candidates must bring a printed copy of their REET admit card and one valid Photo ID to the exam centre for the purpose of verification.

REET syllabus 2025 is prescribed by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE). The syllabus will be released along with the REET official notification in PDF form. Since the teacher eligibility exam has two levels - Level 1 and Level 2,  the syllabus differs for both levels. 

The REET exam syllabus for level 1 has five subjects, whereas the level 2 syllabus for REET has four subjects. Candidates who wish to clear the REET exam 2025 are required to follow the latest syllabus prescribed by the exam conducting body. Candidates who will clear the REET exam will get the REET certificate which will be valid for a lifetime. 

The REET exam pattern will be released along with the official notification. The teacher eligibility test has two levels. Hence, the exam pattern differs for both levels of the examination. The REET exam pattern consists of the number of questions asked, the marking scheme, mode of the exam, etc. 

The exam is conducted for a duration of 2.5 hours and has 150 questions. Both the levels have same number of questions.  The questions in the exam will be Objective or Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs). Candidates must know that there is no negative marking for any wrong questions.

The results are declared in PDF format and consist of the roll number of qualified candidates and category-wise cut-off marks. In order to check the REET result 2025, candidates need to use their login details. REET result contains important information such as name, category, overall marks of the candidate, roll number and total marks secured by the candidates in each subject.

Candidates who will qualify in the exam will get the REET certificate. Earlier, the education body used to release the REET certificate online. However, now, aspirants have to collect the certificates from the certificate centres in Rajasthan. Candidates must note that the REET certificate does not guarantee a job to aspirants. However, the document only makes the candidate eligible to apply for the teacher’s position in the government schools in Rajasthan. The certificate will be valid for a lifetime.
