CBSE 10th Exam 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the timetable for CBSE 10th board exam 2024 on its official website. The class 10 board exams will begin on February 15, 2024 (tentative) and conclude on April 10, 2024 (tentative).
The board has also released the revised CBSE 10th exam pattern for the 2023-24 academic session. As per the revised exam pattern, the board has decided to increase the number of MCQs and decrease the number of short/long-answer type questions. The board has made this move in order to reduce the rote-learning culture among the students. CBSE 10th Exam 2024: Instructions for the students
On the day of the examination, students must adhere to the following guidelines and instructions that are clearly mentioned on their admit cards:
- Students must only use blue/black pen for writing the exam
- Students must reach the exam centre well in time, that is, at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam
- No electronic devices like calculator, mobile phones, smartwatches etc. will be allowed inside the examination hall
- Students must carry the hardcopy of their CBSE admit card to the examination centre, no soft copies of the admit card same will not be allowed or accepted
- Candidates must not resort to any unfair means/practices while giving the board examinations
- Students must ensure that they are wearing their proper school uniform and carrying their school ID and CBSE admit card to the examination centre on the day of examination
CBSE 10th Exam Pattern 2023-24
CBSE has introduced some changes in the CBSE 10th exam pattern 2024 and syllabus this year. Students are advised to develop a clear understanding of the latest CBSE exam pattern and syllabus in order to effectively prepare for the annual board examinations.

Students must note that the board will be using the 9-point scale system to evaluate the student’s performance in the CBSE 10th exams 2024.
