CBSE 10th Exam 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) concluded the class 10th exams on March 13, 2024, in pen-paper format. Students who appeared for the CBSE 10th board exams will be able to check and download their results through the official website - cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in, once announced.

They need to enter the necessary login credentials such as roll number, school number, date of birth, and admit card ID in the result login window to check their CBSE 10th result 2024 online. 

Last year, the board officials announced the CBSE class 10th result on May 12. There are possibility that the board will release the CBSE 10th result around the same time this year. However, there's no official confirmation regarding the result release date and time by the board yet.

CBSE Class 10th Exam Analysis 2024

The CBSE class 10th exams were started on February 15, 2024, in pen-paper mode. Students appeared for the Hindi course A and course B exams on February 22, 2024. While the experts said the papers were balanced, some students said they were a bit lengthy. The board conducted the CBSE class 10th English paper on February 26. The difficulty level of the questions was easy to moderate and experts said it was well balanced.

The CBSE Class 10th Science exam was conducted on March 2, 2024, and the experts said, it was easy to comprehend and well-balanced. The difficulty level of the paper was moderate. The CBSE Class 10 Social Science was conducted on March 7, 2024, in pen-paper mode. Students and experts found the exam easy and not lengthy and most of the questions are NCERT-based.

Students must note that they must carry their admit card and school ID to their respective exam centres on the day of the exam. They are also advised to read and verify the following details mentioned on their CBSE 10th admit card 2024 carefully:

CBSE 10th Exam 2024: Instructions for the students

On the day of the examination, students must adhere to the following guidelines and instructions that are clearly mentioned on their admit cards:

• Students must only use blue/black pen for writing the exam.
• Students must reach the exam centre well in time, that is, at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam.
• No electronic devices like calculators, mobile phones, smartwatches etc. will be allowed inside the examination hall.
• Students must carry the hard copy of their CBSE admit card to the examination centre, no soft copies of the admit card will be allowed or accepted.
• Candidates must not indulge in unfair means/practices while appearing for the board exam as they will be debarred from the exam.
• Students must ensure that they are wearing their proper school uniform and carrying their school ID and CBSE admit card to the examination centre on the day of the exam.

CBSE 10th Exam Pattern 2023-24

CBSE has introduced some changes in the CBSE 10th exam pattern 2024 and syllabus this year. Students are advised to develop a clear understanding of the latest CBSE exam pattern and syllabus to effectively prepare for the annual board examinations. 

Along with the subject-wise CBSE exam pattern, students must be aware of the following key points related to the exam pattern and marking scheme:

• The paper for each subject will be of 100 marks where the theory paper will carry 80 marks and the internal assessments will be of 20 marks
• Students need to score a minimum of 33% in every subject and overall to qualify for the CBSE 10th exams 
• The 5 compulsory subjects that students have to appear for in the annual board examination include Mathematics, English, Science, Social Science and Hindi
