GPAT Exam 2026: The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is a national-level examination conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) to provide admissions to eligible candidates for Pharmacy (PG) courses. GPAT Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates must fulfil the following eligibility criteria prescribed by the NBEMS to appear for the GPAT 2026 examination:

Educational Qualifications

- Candidates must have qualified 10 + 2 examination
- Candidates must possess a degree in Bachelor’s of Pharmacy or equivalent from a recognised university
- Candidates in the final year of B. Pharma can also appear for GPAT 2026
- Candidates with a degree in B.Tech. (Pharmaceutical and Fine Chemical Technology) or equivalent courses cannot apply for GPAT 2026

The GPAT application form 2026 will be made available on the official website of NBEMS GPAT. Eligible candidates can fill out the application form by visiting the website. Candidates require the following documents in order to successfully fill out the application:
- Class 10th Mark sheet
- Class 12th Mark sheet
- Bachelor’s of Pharmacy (B. Pharma) Mark Sheet
- Scanned copy of candidate’s passport-sized photograph
- Scanned copy of candidate’s signature
- Valid ID proof
GPAT Admit Card 2026
Candidates who have successfully submitted the application form and have paid the application fee will receive the GPAT admit card a few days before the day of the examination. Candidates must download the admit card from the official GPAT website and save it for future reference. Candidates must note that they will not be allowed to enter the examination centre or write the exam if they fail to produce the admit card on the exam day. Upon receiving the admit card, candidates must verify the following details:
- Candidate’s name
- Gender
- Date of Birth
- Category
- Father’s name
- Photograph
- Signature
- Roll Number
- Day and time of the exam
- Reporting time and gate closing time
- Name and address of the examination centre
- Instructions to be followed by the candidates at the GPAT 2026 examination centre

GPAT Syllabus 2026
The GPAT Syllabus 2026 is vast and diverse in nature. As mentioned in official notification, the syllabus for the exam will be prescribed by AICTE. Candidates must thoroughly go through the syllabus in order to adopt the right strategy for exam preparation. For the exam, candidates are required to prepare various topics from different subjects like Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutical Chemistry etc.
GPAT Answer Key 2026
After the successful completion of the GPAT exam, NBEMS will release the answer key on its official website. Candidates must note that two types of answer keys will be released i.e., provisional and final. The provisional GPAT answer key will be release within a few days after the examination along with the question paper and response sheets. The final answer key will be release along with the final result. Candidates must note that they can challenge the provisional answer key by filling in the required application form and paying the application fee, however, NBEMS will not entertain any challenge to the final answer key.
GPAT Result 2026
Candidates can check their GPAT result 2026 from the official website of GPAT and download their GPAT scorecard by entering their credentials like the application number and password/date of birth. NBEMS calculates the final result on the basis of the final answer key. They must note that once the final answer key and final results have been declared, NBEMS will not entertain any requests for re-checking or re-totalling of the GPAT results/score.
GPAT Cutoff 2026
Along with the final results, NBEMS also releases the GPAT cutoff on its website. Afterward, the individual institutes and colleges also release their cutoff lists separately in order to provide admissions to the eligible candidates into the Pharmacy (PG) courses.

GPAT Counselling 2026
Candidates who secure marks equal to or more than the cutoff release by NBEMS are eligible for appearing in the GPAT counselling round. Candidates need to register on the official GPAT website to enter into the counselling round and submit the names of their preferred institutes. At the end of the GPAT Counselling 2026, candidates need to pay the admission fee to their respective institutes and complete the admission formalities.

In order to prepare comprehensively for the GPAT exam, candidates need to refer to the right books for preparation. Candidates are advised to create their booklist after developing a clear understanding of the GPAT syllabus, exam pattern and previous year question paper trends.
