JEE Main Registration 2026: Form Correction (OUT), Steps to edit, details allowed to Modify
JEE Main Registration 2026: NTA has closed the JEE Main 2026 registration window for Session 1 on November 27, 2025. Registered candidates can edit their JEE Main Application Form 2026 from December 1 to 2, 2025.JEE Main Registration 2026: The exam conducting body has initiated the JEE Main Application Form Correction Window 2026 on December 1. The link to edit the JEE Main Application Form 2026 has been available on NTA's official website. Only registered candidates can modify their details in the JEE Main Registration 2026 online. The last date for JEE Main Form Correction 2026 is December 2, 2025 (up to 11:50 PM).
The NTA activated the application form link for the JEE Main Session 1 exam on October 31, 2025. The JEE Main 2026 Registration Link was available at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Eligible aspirants could fill out their application form by November 27, 2025. JEE Main 2025 session 1 exam is scheduled from January 21 to 30, 2026, while the exam dates for JEE Main session 2 are April 1 to 10, 2026.
As per the JEE Main eligibility criteria, candidates who passed Class 12th in 2024, 2025, or who will take it in 2026 are eligible to register for the JEE Mains 2026 exam. If it is discovered that those who do not meet the eligibility criteria, their candidature will be rejected. The JEE Main registration fee for male and female General candidates is INR 1000 and INR 800, respectively. For candidates belonging to Gen-EWS/ OBC (NCL) category, the registration fee is INR 900 and INR 800 for male and female candidates, respectively. The JEE Main application fee for SC/ST/PWD/Transgender candidates is 500 INR. Aspiring candidates can apply for the JEE Main exam using three steps: a) Registration, b) Filling out the application form, c) Payment of the Application Fee.

JEE Main Application Form Correction 2026
Candidates who successfully filled out and submitted the application form are also eligible for JEE Main form correction 2026 before December 2 (11:50 PM). However, some details can and cannot be changed while form correction.

- Candidate Name/Mother’s Name/Father’s Name: Candidates can make changes to either their Father’s names or their Mother’s name.
- Date of Birth and Gender: Aadhar-Verified candidates are not allowed to change their date of birth and gender. However, non-Aadhar-verified candidates can change their date of birth and gender.
- Category: Candidates can make changes in the category and re-upload the document against that.
- Sub-Category: Candidates can make changes in the sub-category and re-upload the document against that.
- Course: Yes, candidates can add or correct the selected course

What are JEE Main Photo-size and signature specifications?
Candidates who are filling out the application form for JEE Main must keep in mind the specifications for uploading documents. Candidates can check the specifications for all documents that are required to be uploaded in the application form below:
- Latest photographs should be in color or black & white with 80% of the face (without mask) visible including the ears.
- Scanned photographs and signatures should be in JPG/JPEG format (clearly legible).
- The size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb (clearly legible).
- The size of the scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb (clearly legible)
