Board Result 2025: Check State Wise Board Exam Results

Board exams in India are conducted at both national and state levels. The national-level boards include the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), and the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).

Among the international boards functioning in India are Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) and the International Baccalaureate (IB).

All National and State boards will announce the Class 10th, 12th result on their official websites. Over 28 respective state boards conduct 10th and 12th board exams annually. Some state boards, such as Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Punjab, also conduct board exams for 5th and 8th class students. While southern states – Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, AP, Telangana and Kerala also conduct Class 11 or Plus One exams.

NIOS is an National Institute of Open Schooling for students who wish to pursue classes 10th and 12th without regularly attending school. Eight states — Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Karnataka, Kerala, Manipur, Odisha, West Bengal & Telangana have separate examination boards — have separate Board for Secondary and Higher Secondary. Like BIEAP for AP Inter first and second year while BSEAP for SSC exams.
