Indian Institute of Technology Madras Placement 2023 Update: IIT Madras concluded phase I of its placement process on December 14, by securing a milestone achievement of placing 50% of its students on day 1. A substantial increase in hiring from the core sector was observed this year. Additionally, a significant rise in international offers was also seen when compared to last year. A median salary package of Rs 19 lakh was achieved in phase I. The placement data shows that 55% of the placed students were from socially and economically challenging backgrounds.
