CBSE 10th Result 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to declare the CBSE Class 10 board exam 2026 for Phase 2 by the second week of July 2026, tentatively. While no official announcement has been made by the examination board regarding the release date or time of the result. CBSE conducted the Class 10th second board exam from May 15 to 21, 2026. The board had released the date sheet on April 23, 2026.

Earlier, the board announced the CBSE Class 10 Board Result for the 2026 Phase 1 Examination on April 15, 2026. Students who took the Class 10 board examinations could download their CBSE Class 10th results from the official websites: cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in. To download the CBSE 10th result 2026, students need to enter their roll number, date of birth, school number, admit card ID, and security CAPTCHA code as their login information.

The CBSE Class 10 board exam 2026 for Phase 1 was conducted from February 17 to March 11, 2026. Once the board announces the CBSE result for class 10th, students can also access it via SMS, the DigiLocker platform, IVRS, or the UMANG mobile application.

Last year, the board officials announced the results of the CBSE Class 10th exams on May 13. The CBSE board 10th supplementary exam was conducted from July 15 to 22. The board released the results of the CBSE Class 10 compartment examination on its official website, cbse.gov.in, on August 5.

CBSE 10th Result 2026 - Relative Grading

CBSE has adopted the relative grading system for awarding subject-wise grades to the candidates in class 10th and 12th exams. The CBSE is based on relative grading, which is a more scientific approach instead of absolute grading, wherein grades are given based on the predetermined cut-off levels. 

For awarding grades, all the qualified candidates are put in a rank order divided into 8 equal groups and are awarded grades as follows -

From the 2025-26 academic year, the CBSE board will conduct two Class 10 exams. Students will have to mandatorily appear for the first board exam; however, previously, the board conducted CBSE 10th supplementary exams for the students placed in the compartment.
