CBSE 12th Result 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education will announce the results for CBSE 12th examinations in online mode. It is expected that the CBSE 12th result will be out by mid-May 2026. Last Year, the CBSE 12th Result was declared on May 13, 2025. The overall pass percentage for CBSE Class 12 result 2025 stood at 88.39%, which is an increase of 0.41% from previous year's pass percent. A total of 16.92 lakh students appeared for the examination out of which 14.96 lakh students passed the exam. The board also released the CBSE 12th district-wise pass percentage. Vijayawada district recorded the highest pass percentage of 99.60% followed by Trivandrum, Chennai, Bengaluru, Delhi West, and Delhi East. Girls outperformed boys by 5.94%.

• Regarding subjects where the total no. of students passing a subject is less than 500, the grading will be adopted in the pattern of grading and distribution in other similar subjects.

Overall Pass Percentage

In 2023, the overall pass percentage stood at 87.3% whereas the previous year, the overall pass percentage was 92.7%. Thus, in 2023, the overall pass percentage dipped by 5.38% as compared to 2022.
