IIT Ropar is one of the eight new Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, under the Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act in 2011. It is a government institute and a member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International.IIT Ropar has been ranked 22nd and 33rd by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2023 for the Engineering and Overall categories, respectively. How much does it cost to study B.Tech at IIT Ropar?
The IIT Ropar BTech program is a four-year (or five-year, for dual degree programs) undergraduate engineering program with a tuition fee of INR 8 lakhs to INR 8.92 lakhs. The program is open to students who have passed Class 12th with a minimum of 75% aggregate and have qualified for the JEE Main and JEE Advanced exams. Admissions are based on the merit list prepared by the institute after the JoSSA counseling process.
