PSEB 12th Board Exam 2026: Admit Card (OUT), Date Sheet, Pattern, Syllabus & Question Papers

PSEB 12th Exam 2026 - The Punjab School Education Board will conduct PSEB 12th exams from February 17 to April 4, 2026. The Punjab board class 12 exam 2026 will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode. The board officials have released the PSEB 12th exam date sheet 2026 in online mode. Students appearing for the class 12 exams will be able to download the PSEB 12th datesheet from the official website of the board - pseb.ac.in. 

The examination conducting body has issued the PSEB class 12 admit card 2026 online. Students can collect their admit cards from their respective schools, whereas private candidates can download the hall tickets through the official website - pseb.ac.in. Students appearing for the upcoming board exams must check the PSEB 12th exam pattern and syllabus available online. PSEB 12th Question Papers and model test papers are also available on the official website for candidates to practise for the examination. Students must download them and solve multiple subject-wise Punjab 12th sample question papers. Before candidates start solving model question papers for the Punjab Board 12th exam, they must know the PSEB Scheme of Studies available on the official website of the board.  

The PSEB 12th Result 2026 will be released in online mode. Once released, students will be able to check their Punjab Board Class 12 result from the official website of the board. They must verify the details mentioned in the Punjab Board Result 2026 after receiving it. In case, there is an error in the scorecard, students must immediately report it to the school administration. last year, the PSEB 12th exams were successfully conducted from February 19 to April 4, 2025, while the Punjab Board 12th result was out on May 14, 2025, at 3 PM.

Latest update - As per reports, the Punjab board has now changed the PSEB 12th Computer Science 2026 teaching and evaluation system from this year. The Computer science practical examinations will now be evaluated by an external examiner to bring uniformity, transparency, and a higher academic standard to the subject.

PSEB Class 12 Exam 2026

The PSEB 12th board examination consists of various types of questions such as objective questions, very short answer and short answer type questions, long answer type, and source-based questions. The total marks for the entire examination for each subject is 100 marks. For science exams, the theory examination is worth 70 marks, and the rest of the marks are allocated for practical exams and internal assessments. For the rest of the subjects, the theory section is worth 80 marks, and the internal assessment accounts for 20 marks. 

Punjab Board Class 12th Admit Card 2026

Students need to carry the PSEB 12th admit card 2026 to the examination centre. Without the admit card, students will be denied entry to the examination hall. School authorities can download the hall tickets from the PSEB official website and distribute the admit cards to their respective students. Step 5: Select the batch/year and choose the login credentials such as candidate’s name and father’s name, new roll number, or old roll number

Step 6: Enter the select the login credentials

Step 7: Click on search and the hall ticket will appear on the screen

Punjab Board 12th Exam Pattern 2026

Punjab School Education Board provides the exam pattern for the PSEB Class 12 examination on its official website. Candidates need to go to the official website of PSEB and download the structure of the question paper in PDF format. Students are encouraged to go through the exam pattern as that will help them to create a more informed preparation strategy. The PSEB 12th exam pattern consists of the marking scheme, the total marks, the exam duration, and other information. 

Further, the exam pattern gives a detailed overview of the marks distribution as per the type of question and the chapter or unit. The total marks of the PSEB Class 12 examination is 100 marks, out of which the theory section accounts for 80 marks for most subjects. The remaining 20 marks is allocated to internal assessment. However, for Science stream exams, the theory exam is worth 70 marks, the practical exam accounts for 25 marks, and 5 marks is allotted to internal assessment. The total exam duration of the theory examination is 3 hours.

PSEB 12th Result 2026

The Punjab Board class 12th result 2026 will be announced in May 2026. Students need to secure a minimum of 33% to clear the PSEB 12th board examination. The results released on the official website of PSEB are provisional in nature. Candidates need to receive their original marksheets at their respective schools. Last year the PSEB 12th result was announced on May 14, 2025.

Students who are dissatisfied with their results can apply for result scrutiny. There is a re-evaluation fee of INR 1000 for each answer sheet and a processing fee of INR 500 for viewing the answer sheets. Students who fail to clear the PSEB 12th board examination will have to appear for and clear the supplementary exams. Students who are not satisfied with their results can apply for re-evaluation of their answer sheets. The marks scored after re-evaluation are final and no further corrections are made.
