PSEB 12th Board Exam 2025: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) will announce the class 12th datesheet 2025 tentatively in January 2025. Once issued, students who are registered to appear in the PSEB class 12 exams will be able to download the complete exam schedule through the official website - pseb.ac.in. 

For the academic year 2023-24, the PSEB class 12 dates were announced on January 2, 2024. The exams were held between February 12 and March 30. The board officials released the Punjab Board class 12 result on April 30, in online mode. Along with the announcement of results, the board officials also releases the toppers list, pass percentage, gender-wise pass percentage etc. 

The examination conducting body will issue the PSEB class 12 admit card 2025 online. Students will be able to collect their admit cards from their respective schools, whereas private candidates will have to download the hall tickets through the official website - pseb.ac.in.

PSEB Class 12th Date Sheet 2025

The Punjab Board will release the complete date sheet of the PSEB Inter exams 2025 in online mode. The PSEB 12th date sheet 2025 will be issued for Science, Arts and Commerce stream. Students can check the detailed timetable given below:

PSEB Class 12 Exam 2025

The PSEB 12th board examination consists of various types of questions such as objective questions, very short answer and short answer type questions, long answer type, and source-based questions. The total marks for the entire examination for each subject is 100 marks. For science exams, the theory examination is worth 70 marks, and the rest of the marks are allocated for practical exams and internal assessments. For the rest of the subjects, the theory section is worth 80 marks, and the internal assessment accounts for 20 marks. 

Students who fail to clear the PSEB 12th board examination will have to appear for and clear the supplementary exams. Students who are not satisfied with their results can apply for re-evaluation of their answer sheets. The marks scored after re-evaluation are final and no further corrections are made. 

Punjab Board Class 12th Admit Card 2025

Students need to carry the PSEB 12th admit card 2025 to the examination centre. Without the admit card, students will be denied entry to the examination hall. School authorities can download the hall tickets from the PSEB official website and distribute the admit cards to their respective students. The hall ticket contains several important details such as the examination schedule, examination centre and code, subjects and subject codes, and candidate’s name and roll number. 

Private candidates are eligible to download the admit cards directly from the official website of PSEB. On the other hand, the regular students need to collect their hall tickets from their respective schools.

Step 3: Under the latest news section, click on the link -  private admit card of senior secondary class, March-25

Step 4: Click on ‘Admit Card of Senior March - 2025’ 

Step 5: Select the batch/year and choose the login credentials such as candidate’s name and father’s name, new roll number, or old roll number

Step 6: Enter the select the login credentials

Step 7: Click on search and the hall ticket will appear on the screen

Punjab Board 12th Exam Pattern 2025

Punjab School Education Board provides the exam pattern for the PSEB Class 12 examination on its official website. Candidates need to go to the official website of PSEB and download the structure of the question paper in PDF format. Students are encouraged to go through the exam pattern as that will help them to create a more informed preparation strategy. The PSEB 12th exam pattern consists of the marking scheme, the total marks, the exam duration, and other information. 

Further, the exam pattern gives a detailed overview of the marks distribution as per the type of question and the chapter or unit. The total marks of the PSEB Class 12 examination is 100 marks, out of which the theory section accounts for 80 marks for most subjects. The remaining 20 marks is allocated to internal assessment. However, for Science stream exams, the theory exam is worth 70 marks, the practical exam accounts for 25 marks, and 5 marks is allotted to internal assessment. The total exam duration of the theory examination is 3 hours.

PSEB 12th Result 2025

The Punjab Board class 12th result 2025 is expected to be announced by April end. Students need to secure a minimum of 33% to clear the PSEB 12th board examination. The results released on the official website of PSEB are provisional in nature. Candidates need to receive their original marksheets at their respective schools. Students who are dissatisfied with their results can apply for result scrutiny. There is a re-evaluation fee of INR 1000 for each answer sheet and a processing fee of INR 500 for viewing the answer sheets.
