PSEB 12th Exam 2026: The Punjab School Education Board has declared the PSEB 12th Result 2026 on May 13, 2026, on its official website, pseb.ac.in. The PSEB 12th Result 2026 has been released in online mode. Students can check their Punjab Board Class 12 result 2026 from the official website of the board. They must verify the details mentioned in the Punjab Board Result 2026 after receiving it. In case there is an error in the marksheet, students must immediately report it to the school administration.

The PSEB 12th exams were conducted from February 17 to April 4, 2026. The Punjab board class 12 exam 2026 was conducted in pen-and-paper mode. The board officials had released the PSEB 12th exam date sheet 2026 in online mode. Students who appeared for the class 12 exams were able to download the PSEB 12th datesheet from the official website of the board - pseb.ac.in. 

Earlier, the examination conducting body had issued the PSEB Class 12 Admit Card 2026 online. Students could collect their admit cards from their respective schools, whereas private candidates could download the hall tickets through the official website - pseb.ac.in. Students appearing for the board exams were advised to check the PSEB 12th exam pattern and syllabus available online. PSEB 12th Question Papers and model test papers were also made available on the official website for candidates to practise for the examination. Students were advised to download and solve multiple subject-wise Punjab 12th sample question papers. Students were also encouraged to review the PSEB Scheme of Studies available on the official website of the board.  

Latest update - As per reports, the Punjab board had changed the PSEB 12th Computer Science 2026 teaching and evaluation system this year. The Computer science practical examinations will now be evaluated by an external examiner to bring uniformity, transparency, and a higher academic standard to the subject.

PSEB 12th Result 2026

The Punjab Board 12th Result 2026 has been announced on May 13, 2026. Students need to secure a minimum of 33% to clear the PSEB 12th board examination 2026. The results released on the official website of PSEB are provisional in nature. Candidates need to receive their original marksheets from their respective schools. 

Students who are dissatisfied with their results can apply for result scrutiny. There is a re-evaluation fee of INR 1000 for each answer sheet and a processing fee of INR 500 for viewing the answer sheets. Students who fail to clear the PSEB 12th board examination will have to appear for and clear the supplementary exams. Students who are not satisfied with their results can apply for re-evaluation of their answer sheets. The marks scored after re-evaluation are final and no further corrections are made.

PSEB Class 12 Exam 2026

The PSEB 12th board examination consists of various types of questions such as objective questions, very short answer and short answer type questions, long answer type, and source-based questions. The total marks for the entire examination for each subject is 100 marks. For science exams, the theory examination is worth 70 marks, and the rest of the marks are allocated for practical exams and internal assessments. For the rest of the subjects, the theory section is worth 80 marks, and the internal assessment accounts for 20 marks. 

Punjab Board Class 12th Admit Card 2026

Students need to carry the PSEB 12th admit card 2026 to the examination centre. Without the admit card, students will be denied entry to the examination hall. School authorities can download the hall tickets from the PSEB official website and distribute the admit cards to their respective students. Punjab Board 12th Exam Pattern 2026

Punjab School Education Board provides the exam pattern for the PSEB Class 12 examination on its official website. Candidates need to go to the official website of PSEB and download the structure of the question paper in PDF format. Students are encouraged to go through the exam pattern as that will help them to create a more informed preparation strategy. The PSEB 12th exam pattern consists of the marking scheme, the total marks, the exam duration, and other information. 

Further, the exam pattern gives a detailed overview of the marks distribution as per the type of question and the chapter or unit. The total marks of the PSEB Class 12 examination is 100 marks, out of which the theory section accounts for 80 marks for most subjects. The remaining 20 marks is allocated to internal assessment. However, for Science stream exams, the theory exam is worth 70 marks, the practical exam accounts for 25 marks, and 5 marks is allotted to internal assessment. The total exam duration of the theory examination is 3 hours.
