CBSE 12th Exam Date 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has revised the date sheet for the CBSE Class 12 board exam 2026. According to the official notification on the revised dates , the CBSE Class 12 exam will be conducted from February 17 to April 10, 2026 in pen-paper format. Students can download the detailed datesheet from the official website of the board - cbse.gov.in. CBSE class 12th practical exams will be conducted from January 1 to February 14, 2026 and for winter-bound schools, it is scheduled between November 6 to December 6, 2025. 

Latest Update - CBSE has revised exam dates for class 12 Legal Studies Paper 2026. Earlier, the Legal Studies exam for CBSE board class 12 students was scheduled on March 3 but, now the exam date is changed. CBSE 12th Exam 2026: Exam day guidelines 

Students must adhere to all the following guidelines mentioned in their CBSE 12th admit card 2026 on all exam days:

• Students are advised to reach the examination centre at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination
• None of the electronic devices like calculators, phones, smartwatches etc will be allowed inside the examination centre
• Students must also wear their proper school uniform and carry their school ID and CBSE 12th admit card to the examination centre on all exam days
• The CBSE 12th question papers will be distributed at 10 am and students will be given 15 minutes to read the question paper at 10:15 am they can start writing their exam
