IIT Dharwad's flagship course is a four-year B.Tech program, offering specialisation in seven branches including Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, Civil and Infrastructure Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Mathematics and Computing, and Mechanical Engineering.

Eligibility for IIT Dharwad B.Tech Admissions 2025 mandates HSC (10+2), with a minimum aggregate of 75% in class 12. The selection to IIT Dharwad B.Tech program is done on the basis of merit secured by the candidate in JEE (Advanced).

The per semester tuition  fee for the IIT Dharwad B.Tech program is INR 1,00,000 for General/OBC/EWS category candidates. Candidates  belonging to SC/ST/PwD category are exempted from paying tuition fee.
