Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU), earlier known as PDPU established in 2007 under Gujarat Energy Research Management Institute (GERMI) in the capital city of Gandhinagar. PDEU is accredited by NAAC with and recognised by University Grants Commision (UGC).

Accredited by NAAC the university is ranked as the number one University in Gujarat by Gujarat State Ranking Frameworks. University’s 100 acre campus has  4 Schools with over 5000 Students from India and International Students from over 10 Countries.

PDEU provides programs designed to meet the demand of skilled individuals in the fields of Science, Technology, Management, and Humanities. The University offers a number of specialized and well-planned undergraduate, post-graduate and doctoral programs as well as intensive research projects.

The University provides flagship programs in Engineering and Management with UG and PG programs in BSc, BTech, BBA and MBA. Undergraduate and Postgraduate admissions are conducted by the University annually through entrance exams.

PDEU Admissions 2024 for various UG and PG programs are open on the University portal, the candidates can apply via registration. The minimum eligibility criteria for admission in Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses are done through various National level examinations like JEE Mains, CAT, GATE etc.

PDEU also provides placement and Internship opportunities in various sectors in Engineering and Management through its annual placement programme. 2023 PDEU Placement ended with 90% of students successfully placed. More than 100 companies took part in the recruitment process, with the average package offered at INR 6.5 LPA.

PDPU Facilities and Infrastructure

PDEU (Pandit Deendayal Energy University), spread across a huge campus of 100 acres in Gandhinagar, the Capital City of Gujarat is known for its infrastructure and relevant scientific framework.

Library: The PDEU houses 5,520 books, 44 journals, 141 CDs, and various newspapers in its technology-aided Library, equipped with a user -friendly library management system.

Lecture Hall: There are around 10 Lecture halls for School of Liberal studies equipped with projectors and PCs giving students a comfortable learning atmosphere.

Laboratory: The University has established several engineering laboratories tailored to various sectors, each equipped to support both teaching and research activities. 

Language Lab: PDEU has a multimedia Language Laboratory, occupying a spacious 2,110 square feet room. The fully furnished and air-conditioned lab is designed for computer-based language instruction and offers the flexibility to conduct sessions without computers.

Hostels: PDEU provides optional In-Campus Hostel facility. Furnished rooms with three sharing seats. The hostel is equipped with WiFi and other general day to day facilities like emergency medical facilities, a doctor on call and a lounge to facilitate group activities.

Wellness Centre: PDEU has a state-of-the-art wellness center equipped with cardio and weight training machines and a certified trainer. The center can accommodate over 50 students per session and operates throughout the day.
