SAT 2023: Score Release Dates 

The SAT scores are usually released 2-4 weeks after the exam has taken place. If a candidate appears for the SAT test on a Saturday, the scores are generally provided after two weeks. If a student takes the exam on a weekday, the score report is typically released approximately three weeks after the test. For SAT exams conducted over the summer, score release might take longer. 

Currently, the SAT scores are available for the exams held before and after May 2023. For the SAT exam held on May 6, 2023, the SAT scores have been made available on May 19, 2023. For the exam conducted on June 3, 2023, the SAT score report will be released on June 16, 2023. SAT 2023: Factors For Test Date Selection 

SAT exam is conducted seven times in a year and hence, a student can choose which exam date suits them the best. Students can consider the following factors while selecting their SAT exam date : 

• SAT Test Centre Availability: Students can use the College Board Test Centre Search tool to check the availability of test centres according to location and exam date. While SAT is conducted at many test centres, not every test centre is available for a selected exam date and the number of seats offered varies across test centres. The SAT exam test centre is usually a school or college, and candidates can choose a familiar nearby test centre location. 
• Personal Schedule: Candidates need to note their prior personal commitments, if any, which coincide with an exam date and refrain from choosing SAT test dates which clash with a pre-existing commitment such as a family occasion, vacation and so on. 
• Preparation Time: SAT candidates need an exam preparation strategy and schedule to maximize their SAT scores and enhance their performance. Students are encouraged to plan out their exam preparation timeline and get sufficient study and practice time. 
• College Application Deadlines: SAT scores are required for the college admission process and hence, students need to be mindful of the application deadlines for the colleges in which they are planning to apply. The early application deadline for U.S. colleges is mostly November and decisions are provided by December and January.
