MAT Eligibility 2024: All India Management Association (AIMA) has set a certain eligibility conditions for candidates wishing to appear for MAT exam 2024. The upcoming MAT exam is going to be held in February, 2024. Interested candidates can register themselves at mat.aima.in.
MAT is conducted four times a year, in the months of February, May, September, and December. The exam is designed for candidates looking for admission in MBA and PGDM courses. Over 800 business schools in the country accept the MAT scores for admission.
There is no minimum or maximum age requirement to appear for MAT. However, the basic criteria is for the candidates to have an undergraduate degree. Generally, the MAT aspirants are over the age of 21.
MAT Eligibility 2024: Basic Criteria
There are no advanced eligibility requirements for applicants appearing in MAT. Here is the basic eligibility criteria for the exam:
Academic Requirement: Candidates applying for MAT must have their undergraduate degrees in any discipline. If not, they must at least be appearing in the final examination for their undergraduate degree during the same year as appearing in MAT.
Age Requirement: There is no age limit set for applicants appearing in the MAT exam.
Work Experience: Though having a working experience is not mandatory, it can be considered as a plus point for admission via MAT 2024.
Number of Attempts: There is no maximum number of attempts set for the MAT exam.

All India Management Association has not prescribed any minimum admission criteria or requirements for MAT candidates. However, business schools offering admission may have their own criteria set. - Undergraduate degree holders must have their score in between 50% to 65%
- Candidates belonging to reserved categories may have a relaxation of 5% to 10%
- Candidates with professional work experience may be given priority admission
