XAT Exam Pattern 2024: Xavier School of Management (XLRI), Jamshedpur prescribes the XAT exam pattern. XAT is a Computer-based Test consisting of three sections: a) Verbal and Logical Ability, Data Interpretation and Quantitative Ability, and Decision-Making b) Mock Keyboard Testing c) General Awareness and Essay Writing.
The XAT exam lasts 3 hours 30 minutes, and the exam will be conducted from 2 pm to 5.30 pm. There is only an overall time limit for the exam and no sectional time limits. The exam mainly comprises multiple choice questions and the number of questions ranges between 100 and 105.
XAT 2024 is scheduled to take place on January 7, 2024. Candidates are advised to check the XAT exam pattern before appearing for the exam. The exam pattern consists of the exam duration, number of questions and type of questions, marking scheme, and other details which help students to prepare for the exam in an informed manner.

XAT 2024: Marking Scheme
Candidates can check the XAT marking scheme from the table given below.
- 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer.
- There is a negative marking of 0.25 mark for each incorrect answer.
- If there are more than 8 unattempted questions, 0.10 mark will be deducted for each unanswered question.
- Scores of General Knowledge section is only for final selection and not for shortlisting candidates for GD/Interview.
