SAT Admit Card 2023 : The SAT admit card or admission ticket is released by the College Board on its official website. Candidates can download their admission tickets as soon as they complete the registration process. The SAT admission ticket can be printed out anytime up to and including the test day. Students need to log in to their My SAT account on the College Board website in order to download their admit cards. 

Candidates need to ensure that they bring their updated admission ticket to the test centre. If they printed their admit card when they registered, they are advised to check the test centre again before the test day. Students need to carry the admit card that has all the updated information including the revised test centre details if the test centre has changed. Students will not be allowed to enter the test centre if they are not carrying their SAT admission ticket. 

Students need to carry a print-out of the admit card to the test centre. An electronic version of the admit card will not be accepted at the test centre. Along with the admission ticket, students are required to carry a valid photo identity proof document. Students are not allowed to carry an electronic devices and other gadgets to the test centre. SAT Exam Day: Required Materials

Candidates need to bring the following documents and materials with them to the test centre on the day of SAT exam.

  • Two No. 2 pencils with erasers

Photo ID Requirements

  • The ID should be valid (unexpired) that is either issued by the government or the candidate’s school. School ID from the previous academic year are valid till the end of December of the current calendar year. 
  • The ID proof document should be original and in hard copy form. Electronic version or photocopies of the ID proof will not be accepted.
  • The ID document should mention the candidate’s full, legal name exactly as it appears on the admission ticket. 
  • The ID proof should have the candidate’s recent recognizable photograph that clearly matches their appearance both on the test date and the photo provided during registration.
  • The ID proof should be in good condition with clear and legible English language text and a clearly visible photograph of the candidate. 
  • Acceptable ID documents include government issued driver’s license or non-driver ID card or official school issued student ID card that is from the school which the candidate currently attends. Other accepted documents are government issued passport or U.S. Global Entry identification card, and government issued military or national identification card. SAT Student ID form prepared by the candidate’s current school or a notary(for homeschooled students) is also accepted. 

SAT Exam Day: Prohibited Items

Certain items are not allowed at the test centre. Candidates are prohibited from carrying the following materials to the test centre : 

  • Mobile phones, fitness trackers, smartwatches or other wearable technology (simple digital non-smartwatches or analog watches are acceptable)
  • Audio players or recorders, tablets, laptops, notebooks, Bluetooth devices (such as wireless earbuds/headphones), or any other personal computing devices
  • Unacceptable calculators that have computer-style (QWERTY) keyboards, use paper tape, make noise, or use a power cord
  • Cameras or any other photographic equipment
  • Separate timers of any type
  • Pens, highlighters, or mechanical or colored pencils
  • Compasses, rulers, protractors, or cutting devices
  • Books or references of any kind except as approved as an English language learner support for in-school administrations
  • Papers of any kind, including scratch paper
  • Earplugs
