XAT Application Form 2025: Date, Steps to Register, Exam Fee

XAT Application Form 2025: Xavier School of Management (XLRI) started the XAT registration process from July 15, 2024. Candidates can register for the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2025 by visiting the official website of XAT - xatonline.in. Along with filling out the XAT online application form, candidates need to pay a registration fee to complete the application process. Last date to register online was December 10, 2024. The application window is now closed. 

The XAT registration fee is INR 2,200 for all applications. There is an additional fee of INR 200 for those who apply for XLRI programme. Candidates appearing for the XAT exam 2025 need to fill in their academic and work details, select programme details and test city preferences, and upload the required documents in the application form before paying the application fee. 

Candidates must check the XAT eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. Applicants need to hold a 3-year Bachelor’s degree in any discipline to be eligible for the XAT exam. Candidates who will complete their final examination of graduation before June 10, 2025, are also eligible to apply.

The XAT registration is the first step towards appearing for the XAT examination. The XAT application window opened on July 15, 2024. The Xavier Aptitude Test is conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur for admission to postgraduate management programmes. Last date to register online was December 10, 2024.

XAT Application Form 2025: Steps to register

Candidates can follow the steps given below to register for XAT 2025. 

Step 1: Candidates are required to visit the official website of XAT - xatonline.in

Step 2: Click on the ‘Register 2025’ button 

Step 3: Enter Name, Contact Details, Email ID, and set password

Step 4: Candidates will receive a system-generated email or message 

Step 5: Click on the link to verify your email ID and proceed to the application form

Step 6: Fill in the academic and work experience fields in the application form

Step 7: After filling out the work experience details, proceed to select programme specifications 

Step 8: Candidates can select the XLRI programme as their preference if they wish to study in XLRI

Step 9: Choose preference for XAT Test City, candidates can select upto 2 preferred test cities

Step 10: Candidates are required to upload photograph, signature, and ID proof 

Step 11: Click on the declaration and verify the particulars filled in the form carefully

Step 12: Candidates need to click on the ‘payment’ tab once they have completed the application form

Step 13: The candidate has to click on the ‘submit’ button to complete the application process

Guidelines for Uploading Photograph

Candidates must follow the guidelines given below to upload the photograph on the XAT application form : 

• The photograph should be a recent passport-sized coloured photograph. 
• The coloured picture should be against a light-colored, preferably white background. 
• The preferred dimensions of the photograph are 200 x 230 pixels. 
• The photograph file size should be between 20 KB and 50 KB. 
• Ensure that there are no harsh shadows, squinting, red-eye, or reflections in the photograph. 
• Candidates must not be wearing caps, hats, and dark glasses in the photograph. 

Guidelines for Uploading Signature

Candidates need to keep the following guidelines in mind to upload their signature. 

• The candidate needs to sign on white paper with a black ink pen. 
• Candidates must note that their signature on the admit card and attendance sheet must match the signature uploaded on the application form. 
• The preferred dimensions of the signature image are 140 x 60 pixels.
• The signature file size should be between 10 KB and 20 KB. 

Instructions for Scanning Photograph and Signature

• The scanner resolution should be a minimum of 200 dpi (dots per inch). 
• The colour should be set to true colour.
• The image file must be in JPG or JPEG format.
