CMAT Result 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the CMAT result on its official website. The result can be accessed by candidates using their registration number and date of birth. The result is released in the form of a scorecard containing details like section-wise NTA score, total NTA score, and All India Rank obtained by candidates. 

After the release of the CMAT result, participating colleges invite students for the GD-PI-WAT round. Top institutes like SIMSREE, Great Lakes Chennai, and JBIMS require a CMAT score of above 98 percentile for MBA admission. To get a percentile above 98, students must try to score 320+ marks in the CMAT exam. 

CMAT counselling is conducted separately by participating institutions. The colleges release the opening & closing ranks after counselling for final MBA admission.

The CMAT result is released in online mode at exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT. Students can check the steps to download their CMAT 2026 result below:

• Visit the official website of NTA, exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT
• On the homepage, candidates will find a CMAT 2026 result link
• Click the link and enter details like registration number and date of birth
• Upon submitting the above details, a scorecard will appear on the screen
• Download the CMAT scorecard and save it for future reference.

CMAT Result 2026: Merit List 

NTA does not release any merit list after the declaration of the result. It is responsible for only releasing the CMAT result along with the All India Rank of the candidate. After the declaration of the result, CMAT participating colleges invite students for the GD-PI-WAT round based on their total percentile score and All India Rank. 

CMAT Result 2026: Counselling

NTA has no role in conducting the CMAT counselling round. The participating colleges separately call students for counselling based on their performance in the CMAT 2026 exam. The counselling process for CMAT 2026 involves:

3. Written Ability Test

The final merit list is prepared after the successful conclusion of all rounds by each participating college. Once the candidates are selected, they are called for the final document verification and submission of admission fees to secure their seats in the college.
